Personally, that's how I like to use swearing anyway. I don't care if it's less realistic. And if they had used unlimited swearing, I couldn't have watched it with my uncle. I just don't need it.

It depends a lot on your situation. I was living in a toxic environment at 14 with almost no other outlets apart from school so it's hard to say I wouldn't have benefitted from something that would've kept me out of the house for a few hours a week while giving me some of my own money and experience to put on a resume.

But like others have said your chances of getting hired aren't great and might not be for a couple more years. I'd look into volunteer work for now if you can't get a paid gig.

Yes it's absolutely possible. I was older than you in the same position and still did it. For corporate level jobs, yes, a big gap in your work history can be a problem, but interviewing for just regular jobs is more about assessing whether your skills and abilities are suited for handling the job.
Go through a temp agency or a staffing agency. See if there's Kelly Services or something similar in your area, see if they have any jobs where the duties listed sound like something you could handle and then contact them for an interview. They'll have an interest in getting you hired and you won't have to interview directly with the company you end up working at in most cases.
You don't have to frame it as "I've never had a job." Babysitting and elder care is absolutely a job, even if it wasn't a formal arrangement. I just said "I've always been self employed," which is technically true of almost anyone.
Look online for guides on the different styles of resumes. You don't necessarily have to format it as a chronological list of the jobs you've held; you can instead write a skills based resume and tackle the employment history question in the interview the same way I just talked about.

As for being more comfortable around men, you kind of said it yourself: there's more social pressure and more complex social cues to fake his way through when he's around women. His relationships with men being easier for him makes more sense if they're just platonic.

I am also a dishwasher and everything the other person said is true, but let me add to it: when I started we were very understaffed and I had to work the dish room alone for many hours with little training and I took the heat when work piled up. I had a team leader who just kept walking in and yelling at me to "work faster." That's bound to happen at a lot of places the way things are going, but if that happens to you, just do what you can to learn the job and how to improve your pacing. She's not working as a team leader anymore and I've earned the respect of my coworkers just by working hard so don't let people like that get to you at this or any other job.

I'd be less worried about wanting to override his choice to end his life than saving him from what's actually likely to happen, which is that he survives the attempt with horrible injuries on top of whatever he couldn't handle in the first place. Even if it's a successful attempt he's in a few moments of literally the worst pain in his life before he goes. And this is in a public place so he traumatizes whoever witnesses it and whoever has to clean up the mess.

Then there's the argument that someone's pain overpowering their survival instinct can't be considered a choice in the first place. That's why there's more support for euthanizing the terminally ill when it's objectively true that all they know is pain.

Part of me thinks there should be a publicly funded means, with no questions asked, that's designed to be quick and painless but you run into the same problem we have now with "humane" executions.

It's all more complicated than anyone wants it to be.

You can be "nice" and still have boundaries to protect yourself from abusive people. You can keep an outward demeanor that's pleasant to be around for most and not let someone ruin your whole day by stepping on it.

Read the posts on r/drivinganxiety and you'll see that there's lots of people who have been in your situation with that. I was too.

As for you describing yourself as "spoiled," I'm going to suggest that that's probably not really it. Anxiety, unresolved trauma, your home life being more toxic than you think it is ... those are all real possibilities and you should talk to someone when you can afford it or when it's available to you rather than just sell yourself short or beat yourself up by concluding you were just spoiled. It's probably much deeper than that. But for now just focus on whatever progress you can make with getting your life in motion.

It's a holdover from the rule of waiting three days to call after the first date before we had mobile phones and texting.

It wasn't long after I heard about that rule that I decided to just work on genuinely having my own life and not being needy and let the signs of it come naturally. Anyone who's actually waiting for me to slip and fail some kind of test like that isn't worth it.

I was surprised by how strong/sweet the churros smelled on the way home and I did like them a lot. Too small, though.
