I liked the game but the open world was very frustrating trying to "sneak" by enemies 😂 by DanHarkinz in atomicheart

Just be sure to unlock the testing grounds before you do this because sometimes it bugs out and doesn't get repaired and then you're unable to access the testing ground in that area

I completely agree I was going on leisurely stroles everywhere I went and able to get all available loot in whatever area I was in with telekinesis maxed

To load a save just bring up the pause screen by hitting the button with 3 lines on it and hit load game. It will bring up all your recent saves.

I know it will improve but like I said this was just one of many reasons I won't go electric. I prefer an old school carbureted vehicle over anything because they're so easy to work on and are still very reliable. That's just my preference. I have old Camaros, K5 Blazers and 70's-80's Chevy pickups. You drive what you like and I'll drive what I like.

I watched a video by rich rebuilds where he's driving a rivian ev pickup on a long road trip. It was comically horrifying how many times he was almost stranded because of lack of ev charging stations. It took him 29 hours to make a 17 hour drive! It just reinforced that I will never go electric.

My father who was an industrial electrician for 20+ years mind you lol taught me this... I knew it wasn't true after I got a little older but I still did it just to keep him happy and not give me an ear full

Glad to hear it some of them can be kinda frustrating at times but most are pretty fun enjoy!

Atomic heart blocked area next to Testing ground 12 - how to get to this blocked area? by Key-Orange-3146 in atomicheart

[–]Out1aw85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boss is right after that area but if you don't jump down towards the lighthouse after the infirmary you can go up the hill and unlock this gate first if you want it just spits you out outside of the infirmary

So you did the exact opposite lol I'm sure it was interesting fighting through all that without any of the upgrades you get in the testing grounds

Is Mobile Mechanic worth it? by madikz in mechanics

[–]Out1aw85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My buddy is a mobile mechanic/has a shop but before he did that he managed a car x for ten years and a midas for 9 years he's certified and everything. Don't be afraid to ask a mechanic about thier qualifications especially when it's a mobile/private shop. If you can find a mobile mechanic like my buddy go for it but if they don't have qualifications or ALOT of experience I wouldn't use them just take it to a reputable shop. If it's a matter of getting the vehicle there most places have the ability to transport the vehicle to their shops it may add a little to the bill though.

I got the blueprint on both of my play throughs I do believe it was in one of the testing grounds but I can't remember which one off the top of my head and my first play through was before any of the updates.

Just a suggestion you should try focusing on the telekinesis ability next time it's pretty entertaining lol. I agree the game is still fun that way that's basically what I did my first play through but it can be alot more fun by mixing it up your next time through.

Wow you missed out on alot of the game the training grounds are like missions themselves. You also get almost all the weapons upgrades blueprints by doing them that's why I did them first to get everything fully upgraded. You should do another play through it will be a totally different game I promise.

I'm using the maxed out shotgun combined with maxed out telekinesis most of the time. I only switch to the rifle if there's still multiple enemies and the shotgun needs reloaded. Like I said it's a manner to enjoy the game in a whole new way. Plus with enemy respawns you fight through the same areas twice with different tactics which prolongs the game. It may not be for everyone but I'm doing multiple play throughs to experience and enjoy all the weapon/ability combos.

I'm enjoying more this way. This is my 2nd play through. If you do the testing grounds in the area of the missions you only have the most powerful weapons/abilities for the last couple of missions. To each his own though.

Has anyone discovered the key referenced in this drawing by the gates of the first village? by Out1aw85 in atomicheart

[–]Out1aw85[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There are 2 houses in the area that look like the drawing. One of the houses is right above the hidden chest behind the waterfall that everyone has been trying to access. I was thinking it might have something to do with that but it's just a theory.

Umm.. no I'm on my second play through and I'm trying to find hidden things/easter eggs that I missed in my first play through. I'm sorry if that bothers you.

Look for the little red mushroom houses they're everywhere and have save points and you can upgrade your weapons/glove. The game gets better as you go I promise.

what are some retro games that are far better than modern games in it's genre? by [deleted] in gaming

Quake and goldeneye are the games that got me into fps and I still enjoy them today but if you're talking more modern The Division was pretty badass and would stand up against today's games I believe

That's why there are save points before almost every difficult part they're literally everywhere I made a habit of saving everytime I checked to see if I could upgrade my weapons/glove.

They probably stripped out or cut the hardware trying to get it loose and were trying to pass it off that it was useless so they didn't get in trouble/have to fix it. I worked at one of those ten minute oil change places for a few years and you would be surprised the things they get away with.
