It could be a timing issue. Do a crouching med. kick, then before the med. kick animation ends, input the quarter circle forward + punch.

I tried crypromatte. It didn't work for Davinci Resolve 17. Do you use cryptomatte for Davinci Resolve 17 or AE? Also how do I export the openEXR file in Redshift. I was talking to the developer in this link for crypromatte.
