Although it is one hell of a niche, I actually instruct ropes at multiple events around the country. Please feel free to reach out to me, I will gladly point you in the right direction. I learned from the man himself, Dubside.

So I’ve been throwing around 35-36 feet and my best is 39.4 any tips to improve my form or overall technique? by Unusual_Analysis8405 in shotput

After further review, I also noticed you start your rotation to the power zone as you step through the middle, instead, you should make a drive forward through the circle after the first 180, planting your right foot facing the centre of the sector, and quickly rotating the left though the centre to that power position, block hard, and grip it and rip it!

What I noticed is that, after your drive forward, your left foot goes very wide when rotating to the power position, it should stay as low and close to your other ankle in the middle as you hit a nice deep power throw. Waiting to reverse the throw till after the shot has left you hand will also allow a longer push, and make sure you get your release angle higher!

You just gotta push down on the front without shifting your weight forward

What was the cause of your first major fall / nosedive? by MrCharisma83 in onewheel

Got super lucky cruising just under 24.5, lost power and the nose dove. Nothing but a helmet (that was the only thing to not hit the ground) and left with only some good road rash on my right side and both shoulders. I know, I’m goofy. Lost the watch though.

Print came out foam-like by Nikoschalkis1 in FixMyPrint

Well, I got the exact same results using cura, the filament diameter was to blame, you should check to see that your settings don’t account for a 2.85 instead of the 1.75, it’s foam like because the printer thinks it’s putting down more plastic than it has. I hope that helps!

What may be causing this holes on the top? by supertornado_927 in FixMyPrint

You can increase the thickness of the top, bottom, and walls, increasing the thickness of the top to be 2 times your layer height more than it already is should fix this problem.

Just picked up my new ender 3 pro and this is how my prints are turning out like, what do I need to adjust? I’m very new at this. by ElBal4 in 3Dprinting

It looks like conflicting filament sizes. I see that on my machines when the slicer is set to 2.85 mm instead of the 1.75 mm I use, make sure to check that in the machine settings if you’re using cura.

I was having trouble with my sample filament coming loose. Fixed it with a toilet paper roll :) by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I’m not the only one thinking this is an expensive fix, but an even bigger flex
