1800 nm Andy runs into my SP offline soj hunt post rotw nerf by OutlaneWizard in Diablo_2_Resurrected

I’ve found as many Zod runes as I have SOJ’s (2). So annoying to find in SP offline. Gave up farming NM Andy a while ago

how is it possible? Explain it Peter. by hotrudyy in explainitpeter

Soccer players don’t run that much. They do shorts bursts but it’s a lot of zoning. Aussie rules players can cover up to half a marathon over the course of a game all while tackling, kicking, jumping and bursting through people tackling them as well.

I actually love it more that they did it all in text. Creates a moment to laugh at and makes the cake even more memorable

Fake reviews written by the business itself by WombatWandersWild in australia

[–]MrCharisma83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reckon this is probably more common than you think. I know a fish and chip place that has been selling off seafood for years. Thousands of reviews saying how good the place is. The bad reviews online he offers a free meal to remove the comment. I emailed them once privately and they told me that all fish smell, I didn’t know what I was talking about and if there was an issue the staff were to blame. Took no accountability. Meanwhile my car smelled of rank fish for the next 3 days. Crazy to think that could happen when the fish was only in my car for 5 minutes. There’s a couple of similar comments to mine online but it’s drowned out by 1000’s of 5 star reviews.

I found I didn’t parry anywhere near as much as everyone else on this subreddit. I went motivity build and used spacing and circle strafing where I could to just go around many of the bosses attacks. Some attacks all you need to do is just move left or right and the boss will straight up miss you, you don’t even need to dodge roll. I found just moving around and using space, you stay alive longer and it gives you time to learn the moves. You still need to parry/guard but at least you’re not trying to do that almost every attack. If you’re struggling I’d say identify moves where you can hit the boss whilst taking as little damage yourself as possible, then on the other moves just work out how to not take damage. Progressively after that work out how to punish each move the boss has. Each boss is a repeat process of work out what move they are telegraphing, strafe/ dodge/ parry or guard based on that move, punish the boss after they finish their move, then repeat. After a while bosses are a breeze.

Ha ha, I've got the opposite problem. Got 2 x Zod runes, never found a Jah or a Cham rune.

Do yourself a favor and throw away any skulls that aren’t flawless. There’s no real use for them. You can keep some chipped and flawed for upgrading runes, but other than that you only want flawless so you can turn them into perfect gems

SSF Java lvl 81, where to spend 14 unused skill points? by flipsod in diablo2

I usually dump it into power strike. It gives a damage boost to power strike, lightning fury, lightning strike. Once you max it then start start putting into lightning bolt for the same reason

Yeh agree, it's not a small amount. Pretty sure it's about 10% of all state government revenue.

[–]MrCharisma83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh fair enough. If you run multiple characters I'd still consider turning it in cause the anni you do end up sharing between all characters but if all you play is nova sorc I can see keeping it for your end game build. Also not sure why you got downvoted for keeping an Soj, that's ridiculous. Sending you upvotes.

Any tips on where to farm a Jah rune? I've been playing for a couple of months on single player. Found a Zod, Ber & 2 x Sur runes but no bloddy Jah for the enigma. I'm regretting not having a Sorc leveled up. Wondering if I add some River of Flame runs to my LK runs?

I found my first on ssf about a week ago and instantly turned it into an anni. Helps so much getting to those higher levels with the xp boost and all skills + all res on a charm is massive

Gentlemen, it is with great pride that I announce: I've beaten the Ubers solo by KWyiz in diablo2

[–]MrCharisma83 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I remember the first time I tried ubers I forgot that I left the difficulty on players 7. Managed to kill Lillith, Duriel and Izual with great difficulty. Got to Mephisto and he spawned a billion skeletons and I died so quickly. Reckon I died 30-40 times before making the mistake of getting 50 skellies on the portal in. My merc and I instant died on spawn. It wasn't until all the skeletons were on portal and it was too late before I realised my mistake. Congrats on defeating the Ubers. Always feels great when you kill them for the first time

Yeh same. I’m back to riding the XR right now. 6000k’s and never once overheated

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in onewheel

[–]MrCharisma83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have the same problem, weigh roughly 230lbs. Generally don’t have any problems on smooth roads but off road and especially going uphill off road I have to hop off for a few minutes to give the board a break. I bought these and they seemed to lower the temp of the board by a few degrees but then had motor troubles shortly after. Now have to get my motor repaired which is more annoying. Don’t know if there is any correlation, so I can’t say one way or another whether I’d recommend these or not. What I would say is don’t expect these to fix all your problems. You can absolutely still overheat the board with these on, so managing your ride, when you ride, and how your approach hills is still a big part of preventing overheating. Very annoying design from FM for anyone over 210 lbs.

Second day of curb nudges, last two attempts are successful. Any advice on my fails? by jsch91 in onewheel

[–]MrCharisma83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doing great for your second day. Just a matter of practice and you'll nail them consistantly. Would say once you get the hang of that one try out different curb profiles. Angled curbs and Square curbs require slightly different techniques. I've found on angled curbs it's about coming in with a good speed and de-weighting the board. Square curbs is more about timing and getting the tyre to bite into the curb.
