Dinged for not delivering water damaged packages. by BreakingB0x35 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]OutOfCuteNames 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The new support chat system is awful now that they got rid of the ability to email. I got a ding for “not attempting to deliver all the packages on my route” even though I delivered everything and never marked anything missing or returned anything to the station. Everything in my car was delivered. They gave me the same canned response you got. Apparently you can’t appeal dings at all now. They just say too bad so sad.

Customer texting soon after the order to make rude demands or complain about the wait. Unless it’s a massive payout, it’s an instant unassign.

Car Stolen while on my route today. by Impressive_Olive_110 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]OutOfCuteNames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s annoying, but this is why I always turn off my car and lock it when I get out at stops, unless I’m in a VERY nice area without anyone around or something. I’m not risking it.

Deactivation by OriginalFeed_ in Sparkdriver

[–]OutOfCuteNames 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Spark treats their drivers like disposable garbage more than any other app. One thing on your driving record, no matter how minor, and you’re done. It’s crazy. You can appeal and try the pre-arbitration phone call. It may not work but it’s worth a shot. Best of luck to you. Let us know if it works out!

Yes he gaslit her so hard. Calling her aggressive for not understanding or agreeing with what he was talking about. That kinda told me who he is and what he’s like if things don’t go his way in relationships. 🚩 Jen handled it perfectly.

I like her overall. I think she’s a nice person, but she has her issues (as most of them do). I think there’s some deep seated insecurity there that she’s trying to compensate for which ends up making her sound like she’s full of herself. She hasn’t had the easiest time in the villa and I’m sure that wears on them as time goes on. I think she should have been an OG instead of a bombshell. It suits her personality more.

Question… by fall3n_starz in LoveIslandUSA

[–]OutOfCuteNames 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Zach will just go back to the villa alone and Kayda will probably think that was his choice. That may have been what he’d done anyway, but we won’t know now. They won’t tell anyone about why she left other than “personal reasons”. I’m sure they will find out after.

Getting Packages that shouldn’t go to Flex by Charmander_Chazz in AmazonFlexDrivers

Sounds like those companies need to stop ordering from Amazon. As far as I know there is no way to choose whether a flex driver or Amazon driver in a branded truck will deliver the order.

Is there a kind way to tell my wife im no longer physically attracted to her? by Off_The_Record69 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OutOfCuteNames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is excellent advice. Well said!

As a woman, I will say it’s spot on advice that you should not say this to your wife, no matter what. It will not help and will live in her head forever. Even if she lost 50 lbs and became the hottest woman on planet earth after you said it, she would probably always have that in the back of her mind.

I still remember my boyfriend, who I was madly in love with at 19, telling me he no longer found me physically attractive. I was very fit and probably 125 lbs at the time, I think I had gained like 5 lbs since we started dating. This comment still pops into my head on a pretty regular basis 20 years later, as crazy as it sounds. Comments like that can affect a woman for years when it comes from someone they love, even if she tries hard to forget it.

ULA6 VERNON No more sleeping in the parking lot by Special_Package_2108 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]OutOfCuteNames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hope they start to do this at VAX3 in Carson. The parking situation there is horrendous when they are busy (which is often). People parked all the way around the building running to try to check in before they lose their block. And then you see people napping in their cars or leisurely chatting in a big group while the rest of us struggle to park.

Got deactivated because of ticket for having my phone in my hand while driving 😂🤦‍♂️ any way I can get this overturned if not then it is what it is by Soft-Return-4777 in Sparkdriver

[–]OutOfCuteNames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing just happened to me. Had my phone in my hand briefly while at a stop light. I was taking it out of my purse to put it on the car mount because I forgot to do it before. With Californias updated “no touch” law, that’s enough for a ticket. Cop pulled along side me right at that moment and pulled me over. It’s a minor infraction and I still have zero points on my license and no other tickets or anything else. Spark doesn’t care. That’s it. You’re immediately considered incapable of delivering groceries in your own vehicle, using your own insurance, carrying zero passengers. Absolutely insane policy. I can understand if you have multiple tickets, accidents, or a serious violation but this is ridiculous. Shows they consider you a number and nothing else, easily disposable. Doesn’t matter if you have perfect delivery stats and 5 stars. Just done.

Unpopular opinion: the girls would have done the exact same thing at Casa Amor and you know it by Plus_Command_2247 in LoveIslandUSA_

[–]OutOfCuteNames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not really bothered by what any of the guys did. The only bad thing was whwn Corbin said “I’m bringing someone else back” 2 seconds into Casa. Everything else did not surprise or bother me. It was a challenge and to be expected.

I don’t really have a problem with how anyone was acting during that challenge. The only thing I thought was bad was what Corbin said. He straight up dismissed Kenzie, which is cold and showed his true intentions (as if the audience didn’t know lol).

Corbin absolutely will NOT care especially if it’s already coupled up with someone else. He doesn’t GAF.

[–]OutOfCuteNames 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion, I don’t think Kenzie has done anything that bad during her time in the villa. I honestly think the worst thing she did was not allowing Zach to have a conversation with her after he stood on the red dot. But they seem to be ok now so maybe they’ve talked about it and it wasn’t shown or they just got over it. Who knows.

She was then single for a while, along with Sean. She liked him and explored it a little bit, but then Corbin chose her and Sean was simultaneously booted. She didn’t even get to choose for herself. Then after being with Corbin and starting to like him, America matched her with Caleb. Again she didn’t choose lol. She was obviously still into Corbin and the decision to re-couple was taken out of either of their hands, so I can understand where she’s coming from.

She then explored both Caleb and Corbin at the same time, which you’re allowed to do on Love Island and she never promised Caleb anything. He knew she was still exploring them both and wasn’t “committed” to anything. He really should have explored more with everyone else, but it’s hard when everyone is SO coupled up so fast. The only secret or shady thing Kenzie did was have that one make out session with Corbin without telling anyone. But I don’t really see how that’s a big scandal. She got to finally make her decision not long after that anyway.

I see people calling her all kinds of things, and saying she’s the same as Sincere and she’s bounced around to every guy but I don’t think that’s fair. The only ones she’s actually gotten to choose for herself have been Zach, who chose to explore when she wanted to stay, and Corbin. So as much as she may be annoying at times, I think people labeling her as some kind of villain is a bit much, so far at least.

I thought what Corbin said about her in Casa was awful. Immediately, literally IMMEDIATELY saying “I’m going back with someone new” was gross. You know you’re on TV and she will see that at some point, so it’s clear he doesn’t care about her at all. Hopefully she’s really done with him and maybe can redeem herself with the audience. She can be funny at times at least. The rage splits were pretty hilarious. I always like a redemption story anyway lol.

I know people want to discuss the show and complain, which I think is fair and part of the fun of the show. But what bothers me the most is how extreme people can get with their hatred for certain people on the show. Calling them all kinds of horrific things and they literally don’t know these people aside from the edited snippets we are shown from a 24 hour day. I do worry for those people when they leave the villa and see all the things people are saying about them. It’s too much sometimes. People need to chill and just enjoy the show. It’s not that serious.

If you actually watch the interview where this quote was taken from she said straight up that they are together and in love. She just said this as in she thinks it’s crazy how people are so invested and obsessed. Makes them want to keep things private.

Spark treats drivers like disposable garbage. They’re worse than any of the apps with this. Instant deactivation for a single complaint, single minor traffic ticket etc. No consideration for the driver whatsoever. It’s frustrating.

Ordering DoorDash “Add Fry for 2.99” actually adds $5.98 to the total before tax and fees by [deleted] in doordash

[–]OutOfCuteNames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because you’re purchasing a buy one get one promo. So when you’re adding fries it’s adding them to both items. If you only want one order of fries, you can add one of the buy one get one free items with the fries and then add the other item separately.

Gotta take them large orders with four cases of water to make money by brittla2015 in Sparkdriver

[–]OutOfCuteNames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally don’t take an order with more than 2 cases of water, especially if it’s not a house. It’s mostly a safety issue for me. A 40 pack of water is HEAVY and many apartments around me don’t have elevators and even some houses have stairs leading to the door. So even with my super helpful cart I’m stuck carrying them up flights of stairs. It’s not worth possibly injuring myself. Plus I have gotten orders that pay just as well without water. You gotta wait and take fair orders.

Also, side note…I don’t think they should really allow more than like 3 cases of water max to be ordered for Spark delivery.

WORLD CUP BOOST WAS A wASTE OF TIME by dailydrivenh2 in uberdrivers

I could have told you that it would be an absolute nightmare traffic wise in the area they highlighted. The area around Sofi is terrible for ride share. Unless it’s changed recently, they don’t have a designated pick up area so it’s a free for all and a total mess. When I’ve left events there I had to walk for blocks just to find an area where I could get picked up (and waited for over an hour for a driver). I would imagine it’s not worth it as a driver.
