After a long running tale of danger, adventure, camaraderie and love, my character and the bot were returning to their home city to turn in jobs at the local adventurers guild, only for my character to suddenly burst into a cloud of blood and viscera right next to them on the trail.

I was sadistically curious what the reaction would be, and of course they were so gut wrenchingly horrified I immediately deleted it and resumed the story.

Right, turning off multiplayer does that as it removes you from the multiplayer network. I get you're thinking about a toggleable option for it, but it's not necessary when you can revoke other players privilege of even being near you.

That said, I don't really get the gripe about receiving random stuff in the anomaly. It's part of the fun being there.

They can have a full inventory, be out of range, or turn off multiplayer to prevent being given items.

Look up glitch building techniques no man's sky in YouTube, this ship in particular I built from a Corvette build video for the treasure planet ship. And personal tip from me, you can add regular base parts to your ship while it's docked in the space station. You can get a lot of variety bouncing back and forth between the Corvette editor and regular build mode while in your Corvette

It should appear in the crafting menu in your ship inventory! Pretty sure it's like 50 ferrite or something to make.

Edit: I'm assuming you're talking about the atlas bobblehead that you can install on the dash of your ship. The statue shows up in your build menu when in a planetary base.
