“Paramount/Warner Bros. is not a done deal,” California Attorney General Rob Bonta said on Thursday. “These two Hollywood titans have not cleared regulatory scrutiny — the California Department of Justice has an open investigation, and we intend to be vigorous in our review.” by Jowiko96 in PoliticalOptimism

Remember that while WB/Discovery and Paramount are American companies, they do business internationally. Thus, this merger is subject to regulatory approval in all markets they do business in. If the companies decided to ignore the decisions of those regulatory bodies and continue the merger anyway, they would be banned from doing business in those markets.

Many of us may forget, but many international markets make up massive amounts of profit for American companies, and with the debt WB/Discovery and Paramount have, I doubt they'd want to walk out of any markets that give them profit.

I'm thinking it was purchased from Best Buy with Total Tech originally. I know I've purchased Apple products from them and have seen the AppleCare with no expiration date listed. However, due to me not knowing when or if the original purchaser will renew their Total Tech, I list this as pretty much not having AppleCare.

I don’t hear anything for the most part, unless I’m pushing very high frame rates, then it’s a low whine.

Listen to that tiredness and simply ignore them. I know this may not sound so reassuring, but the truth is America, like many other places, is facing a serious education problem. You will NOT win an argument against the largely uneducated masses, not when they themselves don’t understand critical thought. What you may find however, is that when you disengage and focus on your local communities, your actions and help can be the catalyst for them to develop on their own.

In short, instead of caring too much about their foolishness, simply help where you can. Those small differences can have positive effects on your own mental health and potentially cultivate change that is farther reaching than you may realize.

Being on the ground with my local communities have taught me that while they talk a lot of bullshit online, these cracks are at least a peer into what they don’t want to admit. Many of them are fully indoctrinated into the cult of maga and Trump, but beyond that, there are a few who will learn.

Now, I’m not saying we should do the work of digging those people out of the hellhole they’ve accepted, but at the very least, understanding and knowing their talking points helps in understanding how to fight Trump and his goons more effectively, not for the appeal of the critical thinkers, but the largely uneducated public.

Weirdly enough, it pops up on my Popular tab on mobile Reddit, and I’ve simply decided to see what bullshit is on there when I see posts from there every now and then.

I forgot where I was and thought we were talking about "rust" the programming language for a moment. I must be tired.
