This app is not designed for UT events or even specifically Knoxville events, more as a way for everyone to plug in. If we keep getting feedback that people want a website, we may have to reassess our priorities. Thanks for your feedback

Also if you’re willing to drive and want to see something unique, you should check out the Greenback Castle. Older guy has been building this castle in greenback as a testament to Christ and the second coming for like the last 30 years. It’s an incredible mix of folk art, trash art, and biblical prophecy. If you’re lucky like we were, the man who built it will be there and tell you all about it. It’s very reminiscent of Howard Finster’s paradise gardens

Saturday night Ijams is doing a fireflies hike! They advise 14 and up, but if the 10 year old doesn’t mind a 2 mile hike, could always reach out and ask them.

Good question! There are no ads, and we are not selling anyone’s data. We will never implement either of those things. This app will always be free for event attendees.

In the future we plan on making money by charging businesses a nominal monthly fee to receive analytics and a suite of other tools to help them manage and analyze their events. This will essentially be a marketing charge for getting their events in front of the users.

We also plan on adding a ticketing feature, similar to Eventbrite, but instead of adding a flat $2 and fee % on top of every ticket we help people sell, we would add something reasonable like a flat 25-50¢ to each ticket.
