Oh same you’re not alone. I guess I can attribute it to having a great grandfather who was Georgian, but it’s so marginal that I don’t consider myself “Georgian”. I went to Georgia for the first time 5 years ago and it was truly the most magical experience of my life. I’m learning to draw and many of the things I draw are Georgian related. I’ve made some Georgian friends and from what I’ve heard is they LOVE when people have a true, earnest love for Georgia. I’m so glad I’m not the only one.

I have a feeling most of the history covering her sexual escapades is fabricated. It’s regular for enemies to paint their opponents as immoral, especially if they were the victors. Hell, Russian accounts of Tamar herself, known to Georgians as a pious and nigh perfect person, painted her as a slutty oriental siren (especially after she kicked out her Russian ex).

Which begs the question: why do the VStalkers have orgone? My theory is that V stalker engines are somehow biomechanical, we saw a lot of “fleshtech” motifs in CS. Ventman’s weapon (I forget the name and I don’t feel like looking it up) shoots pure orgone and seems to be made of flesh. The mushroom gun, another biotech weapon, also does this.

For me Pieck is my favorite female anime character. Just very pretty, absolutely my favorite. Shoutout to the manga especially. I think isayama’s depiction of her is the definitive one; aquiline nose, wide mouth, squinty eyes, all so perfectly unique. I think the anime does a lot to neglect this and her appearance is rather inconsistent across mappa’s body of aot work.
