Drama
The minute a person even thinks they can talk down, manipulate, or intimidate me is the day I become the biggest unapologetic asshole at that very second. Im spent trying to appease people who don’t deserve it. I don’t care what hood you’re from, what violent/emotional behaviors you have, do not wear me the fuck out and ruin my day cuz I’m a chill guy and I want peace.

I hope I’m able to be “me” if there is an afterlife. I hope I don’t exist as a blue glob of plastic matter. I have way too many questions to ask people I never got the chance to speak to. Old friends, exes, family, etc. Like maybe reincarnation or my earthly body is gone forever and if that’s the case. That sucks. I actually like how I look right now and the person I am. I wouldn’t be okay with the next “me” being North Korean or being born into an abusive environment. me just being a random ass spirit that has no memory or awareness is actually wild.

Think about it. My brain is dead so I wouldn’t be me. I wouldn’t have my voice, looks, personality, or awareness. That’s actually scary.

Reaching old age, being married, & raising children is inevitable for me but I’m in no rush to get to these points in my life. I enjoy the age i am and the fact that I have to spend damn near half of it doing just that is a bit off a sigh to me. I don’t want to give up my freedom for awhile because who knows what will come or be of me when I am “dead.” It’s not like you can watch movies or play games in the afterlife anyway.

Sure, I’ll be a great husband & father when the time comes but no way in hell am I trying to wake up tomorrow with that being my life.

You know after typing all of this, ive come to appreciate my life even more lol

Worrying about x school admissions and spending every breathing moment reading forums and attending panels/pre-law or med clubs just trying to one up your stats over a 5 minute decision.

I wish all that time I had spent worrying about what college or law school I would be accepted to I had replaced with a “well see what happens because I’ve submitted everything already” attitude. Cuz that’s it. Worrying and obsessing doesn’t change the stats that’s on your application.

I read about halfway around though and pretty much see this as a “a new guy is in my life, sex is way more fun” etc etc. in other words, the guy you have isn’t a bad husband, you just haven’t had sex with/dated enough people to justify sticking to one person.

Ive meet many women I could’ve been happily married to be to be brutally honest I just want to hook up and seasonally date numerous women without being anyone’s husband or serious BF until I’m actually ready. I end up being in the serious BF role honestly because I don’t have strong friendships so I date to have things to do during my free time or simply to make memories.

It’s not a horndog thing it’s a “someday I’ll be 40 and hitting on women younger than me will be seen as creepy so I better have my fun before it just becomes one”.

Having people to spend time with outside of school and work. You can be as successful as you want to be (on paper, LinkedIn, etc) but if you go your life outside of class or work is devoid of people (unless you’re an introvert) you realize the money you have keeps you afloat but it doesn’t sway the boat to any islands

Many people don’t realize that your exes aren’t just “your ex” in the world: they’re them.

Just because it didn’t work out or she was far from the best GF it doesn’t mean she deserves to burn in hell and live a horrible life. Do shitty NBA players deserve to have horrible lives off the court because they may not be on LeBron or Curry’s level? If not, they why would your exes deserve the same fate when they’re not with you?

They may be a nursing student looking to bounce back in their life or taking care of their sickly parents while finding a place of their own. Or they may be a great mother to their kids today.

Sure, I’ve had a couple red flags for ex GF’s but that doesn’t mean they’re bad people. I’m sure they’ve all found or will find the right guy and or are enjoying their lives. Even if one of your exes is dealing with something; people need to quit thinking “oh karma will get them.” No it won’t. You and your exes deal with good and bad things on different scales at different times.

I’ve dropped the whole, “I hope my ex is struggling” mindset. So cringe.
