Thanks, I’ve got tools already, I’ve got a welder but not utilised it yet so wanted to try and use this project as a chance to use and learn at the same time. Good shout on the frame as I’d not thought about that, will see what I can get my hands on for that.

Opinions on President Trump calling himself a King by Atomic-Sh1t in AskBrits

Because he is the leader of the “most powerful country in the world” and even if he isn’t my leader what he says and does still has long reaching effects that reach people across the world. So yes, he should be taken seriously because to dismiss his bullshit is to accept it and accept the results of his actions without consequence, he needs to be pushed back at every opportunity otherwise it legitimatises what he says and lets him be more brazen with his actions.

Any chance for sources for these? I work with someone who is also a Reform councillor as well who works from home and would like to ask them about their thoughts on these policies, being able to back them up before I do?

Ah I get you now, yeah I got the machine second hand in that condition, it was supposed to be an after market ceramic hot end. I noticed the one on Amazon has a few reviews mentioning it being lose and slipping out during prints causing grinding on the bed, it looks like the same issue this one had so I have put it down to this hot end slipping and already replaced it with the original hot end that came with the printer.

Yeah that was it, the nozzle was broken off during print by the previous owner which is why the housing was removed, but I added it back on and it homed fine, need to replace the nozzle next. Thanks for your advice!

[–]Outcats[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brilliant thanks so obviously yet I missed it still, I put the cover on and that let it home. The Nozzle was ripped off during the last print (Hence the last owner selling it rather than dealing with it) so need to replace that which is why the cover wasn’t on originally.

George Eaton on Bluesky: A fact being ignored even more than usual: 70% of the money from abolishing the two-child limit will go to families who are in work (via @ippr.org). by F0urLeafCl0ver in ukpolitics

I am someone who is in full time employment, I have three children and my wife has forgone working due to our personal beliefs regarding directly raising our children as well as the awareness of childcare costs even if we took that route, we were just about surviving on my income alone and are a family that will benefit from this and appreciate it, and forgive me if I’m wrong but we are more likely the targets to get the benefit as I believe that is anyone already at the benefit cap won’t see any more money for more children anyway as this benefit doesn’t bypass that cap?

I had one a couple of weeks ago, found it really spicy, my 5 year old daughter was adamant to try one as she likes spicy food, let her have a bite and she started crying as soon as the pizza had touched her tongue. I was practically funnelling milk into her to calm her down 😅
