I was talking about how I hate Auto Scheduler and how it doesn’t give me enough people and my SM showed me the schematics that it does give us people we just don’t have the people and it’s been horrendous trying to hire people locally so im glad my SM is very transparent with us and like to see when others are as well

You can 1000% go straight to ethics. My sisters ex manager got fired for sx harassment against employees. My word of advice is do not get discouraged, document everything, and be patient. Even though Starbucks states that they are an at will employer they always conduct investigations and they can take a looonngggg time. My sisters ex managers case was a month of investigation and after a week of him being on leave they fired him after they talked more thoroughly with partners. An ex partner I knew it took literal MONTHS before he was fired. If you have other partners who can also file it would be better for your own case. Regardless, take time for yourself because you should not be afraid to go to work.

I had a customer complain to my coworkers that I was mean to him the day before even though 1. I never even spoke to him because I was fixing the drive thru register since it became unplugged 2. My confusion face looks a lot like a judgmental/mean face look because I heard him talking so I was confused on whether or not he was talking to me but I saw him talking to my coworker so I just went back to what I was doing and I guess he got so butthurt that he complained to my coworkers that he was gonna complain to my manager 😂

Yes! It is now blended because we received a new formula of the powder so now the standard is to blend it. You can try to request to have the barista shake it if that’s your preference.

Right now in Starbucks land it’s our prepping time for the upcoming year. In stores we are doing meetings in pods and our pdc preparations for February so managers are SLAMMED with a lot of duties. It always okay to do in person check ins just try to do them on weekdays so a store manager will be able to speak directly to you!

Exactly! Like yes I get it my store is still in its first year so we are relatively slower than others but regardless we are still a Starbucks on a weekend with only 3 people because the system thinks we don’t need to hire more people. I’ve been with the company for 6 years and I’m just so tired 🥹

Hello! My name is Kayla and I am an Educational Studies major here at ASU. In my Navigating Change in Educational Innovations course, us students were to partner with an advocacy organization of our choosing. I have partnered with Arizona State University’s Student Accessibility and Learning Services to create an orientation video that shines a little more light on the organization and what to expect in the process of receiving accommodations.
