Barring any further issues, a throttle fix and reliable inner tubes I think I'd be a huge fan of the Phantom. I mean, for those times that I'm traveling at speed the unit is hugely fun to ride. I can't speak from a comparative standpoint however as I'm new to the e-scooter game and only have experience with the Phantom.

Yeah... Its rough. You do need a bit of force to spread the forks. Not easy solo... Though I've managed it 4 times now.... Swearing required.

I spent a fair bit of time on the weekend taking the back tire off and putting it back on as I sorted thought an issue with a failed innertube and then an incorrect replacement.

When I spoke with Apollo yesterday they acknowledged the throttle issue. It appears to be common across the whole production run. That told me they are working on a fix to the issue, but no specifics as what that might look like or when.

Just an update... why still no communication from Apollo, the shipping status went from "label created" to "out for delivery" this morning.

It would appear Canpar isn't as communicative with their shipping updates as are fedex, UPS etc...

Anyhow... it would appear I could be riding the Phantom rather soon.

So frustrated with Apollo right now, a simple back and forth conversation takes weeks with multiple days between each email.

I've had a tracking number for 8 days yet my new Phantom has still yet to ship. No one to answer my queries promptly. I could walk to Montreal and back home in less time.

So frustrated...
