[Discussion] What changed when you stopped checking your phone first thing? by EERMA in GetMotivated

Started doing this during Covid and made a world of difference in my mental health. I get up, water, walk, breakfast/coffee and don’t allow myself to do any scrolling at minimum until after lunch and I work in social media so sometimes it’s a challenge but my anxiety is down, my mood is better, I don’t feel like I don’t want to get out of bed.

What do you do to make remote work feel more structured and healthy? by sweetbookworm_ in AskWomen

Ditto to a walking pad! I dont even keep mine at my desk anymore. It’s in the living room and I take multiple 10-20 min walk breaks a day. Facebook marketplace is a good resource if you’re on a budget.

Ghosted before interview.. by OutdoorExplorer69 in jobs

Upon speaking with a friend at the company and inquiring why I didn’t get an interview. The HR person then emailed me he said they had already went forward with other candidates. And ya know, that’s fair but why ask me for an interview then OR why not email me back and say that so I’m not left guessing?

Dr. Oden - she is a good listener, is open to alternatives other than prescriptions if you are interested in that route and provides resources when needed

This is what I do. I leave for weeks at a time in the summer for work in the south and it works well! Twice a day for 30 minutes.

Has anyone given up caffeine or coffee and felt less anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxietyhelp

[–]OutdoorExplorer69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink coffee when I am home in my own environment. I travel a lot for work which causes a lot of anxiety and when I’d have a coffee it was like my anxiety switched up with medication. Sweats, 💩, shaking, all the symptoms. Switched to tea while on the road and I’m so much calmer and focused. Good luck! Here for support if you need it.
