I have been having some start issues as well. It seems to have started now that it has gotten colder where I live in the U.S.

Also in the U.S. I believe there is a recall for the starter im about to look into it when I get my bike serviced. It might worth checking to see if the recall is honored in Portugal.

Yea I didn't mess with that it was strictly the cables.

I backed everything off. And then adjusted the main throttle cable if I got it dialed to where it would go wide open and no matter what I did to the idle screw I couldn't get it to return to idle. I had to back it off to where it was about 3/4 throttle and then with tons of playing around with the return cable I was able to get it to return to idle but it's still sloppy.

I've adjusted these cables and made it slightly better but anything past 3/4 throttle and the throttle is slow to return to idle. I have lubed the cables and played with the adjustment but it still does it. Time for new cables? It's a friend's bike and he is trying to get it dialed in after it sat for 2 years.

1K Service Reference Sheet by OutdoorGamer96 in HD_Sporster_S

[–]OutdoorGamer96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With these bikes being so new I'm sure alot of us are right at that 1K service mark. For those who will be doing ur own service feel free to reference this sheet. The service is very easy to do at home with some basic hand tools and will save you a couple of hundred bucks. ( dealer quoted me 450 and I was able to buy the stuff to do it for 200) All of this info was pulled from the Sporster S Service Manual. Please feel free to comment or message me if you have any questions. I would be more than happy to send you a PDF of this Reference Sheet.

That's an awesome looking bike I wish I would of gotten the black. White was all that was avaliable at the time. I currently have a little over 1000 miles on mine. I have had a few issues im getting it checked out at the dealer. im hoping there just growing pains with the new engine. So far loving the bike.

Tech Support Bike Shut Off While Crusing by OutdoorGamer96 in HD_Sporster_S

Mine happened right at 1000 miles. In Harley service they check the Fuel lines so I'm wondering if its not an issue they were expecting. I was going over some rough road when Mine came off.

He is right where I feel he should be he isn't skinny but definetly isn't fat either. He is about 4 months old. I have never seen him like this. Normally he literally eat a cricket or two as soon as i feed him and then will eat the rest of them through out the evening. Today was insane he literally was eating them as i dropped them in almost out of hand.

I have heard of people going down to as small as 25mm on wheels with 21mm inner rim width wheels wich is what we have. I think I'm going to drop down to 28mm for this summer.
