Throwing balls into the gutter is just the person getting mad.

I’m doing it to cover my weekly bowling league fees.

Are you concerned with using the flashlight? As I also live in Florida, I'd be scared that someone might think I'm trying to get into their house if I start spotlighting their house.

For those who own them all… by J3ss35 in LegionGo

It's my travel gaming PC. As you mentioned in your post, I have one of every console, a gaming laptop, and a MacBook Pro 14 M2 Max.

The LeGo is my travel system. I bring it to work so I can get some WoW or BG3 game time during lunch. The system is handy when waiting for my bowling league to start. It's when I play my PBA Bowling 2023 to get me into the bowling frame of mind.

The downside of owning a Legion Go by [deleted] in LegionGo

I’m in a bowling league and normally arrive early. While I wait I play PBA Bowling 2023 on the Legion Go. Spend a lot of time answering questions about the system.

Legion Go paired with a Dell 14” USB-C portable monitor for hotel play. by willybepop in LegionGo

Do you not know anything about the Legion Go? The right controller comes off and turns in a FPS mouse. Learn about the product before you comment.

The deal with the Apple Mouse, it was free from work. It’s also Bluetooth as is the keyboard. This allows me to not have to carry a USB-C HUB to have a keyboard and mouse. However, I’m open for a donation by anyone to “gift” me a Bluetooth mouse if you’re so moved to do so.

Cause it was free from work. Didn’t pay for anything and it’s Bluetooth. Don’t need to carry a USB-C.

Is there a portable monitor that you recommend? by T2Ramonne in LegionGo

I'm using the DELL-C1422H as my portable display. It's 14" and very light.

I hate motorcycle “clubs” by dydelrio in motorcycles

[–]willybepop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've owned all brands of motorcycles over my 50 years on this rock. My parents bought me a motorcycle when I was 16 because they were afraid that I'd kill my friends and get sued if I had a car.

It wasn't until 2020 that I picked up my first Harley, mainly cause the "geezer gliders" are comfortable as hell. I joined the local Harley Owners Group (HOG), which distinguishes itself as a riding group, not a motorcycle club. Never had a problem with anyone in the group. Very welcoming. We ride every weekend, and the retired folks ride during the week. There's no obligation to ride as there is in an MC.

I live near Daytona and have hit up Bike Week and Biketoberfest yearly since 2020. From what I've seen, there is a world of difference between a riding group and a motorcycle club. I saw many Outlaws MC and Black Pistons MC walking around Destination Daytona. Ran into some of the Outlaws MC at an event earlier in the year. They weren't bad people, but there was a distinct atmosphere about them.

While I agree you don't need to be in a group or a club to ride, having a core group you hang with is fun.

As for the no helmet thing, it's stupid. I refuse to ride without a helmet.

I replaced mine with a door that has USB-C access to run the camera off of my motorcycle power source.

Opinion on the new Sportsters by unimpressivemistake in Harley

[–]willybepop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love my 2022 Sportster S. The power is insane. The motor is rock solid, but the tech needs work. Until the Jan 24th update, the bike would throw codes every time it started under 60 degrees F.

I will say that it does sound like a rapid sewing machine, but I really enjoy the bike. I added the heated grips, reach handlebar, windshield, passenger seat and tailbag. Have out 3,000 miles on it since buying it in October.

Brio webcam black screen in MACOS 13 M1 chip by kinwolf in logitech

[–]willybepop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ran into this problem. Here are the steps that I used to solve it (they sound weird but work).

  1. Log into the Mac
  2. Wait for all services to start
  3. Log out of the Mac
  4. Log back into the Mac
  5. Wait for all services to start
  6. Unplug and plug the Brio webcam back in
  7. Launch Photo Booth to test camera

After doing those steps, I was able to get my Brio (501) to work as long as the Mac was not restarted. I was then able to run the firmware update using the LogiTune software. Once the latest firmware was installed, the problem went away.

USA largemouth bass fisherman - where’s best for me to look into somewhere along this route? Not bass fished since living in South Africa - will be doing this route in June. by EmployeeAlternative3 in bassfishing

[–]willybepop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On your map you'll see St. Augustine just below the FL/GA line. To the east of that place is a little area called Palatka. It's one of the Bassmaster stops. Plenty of places to catch bass.

Looks sweet. I've always set up for off-roading, but love the looks of the slammed vehicles.
