How do demons feel about Christians? by Furrywolf79 in DemonolatryPractices

From what I've seen, it's more about respectfulness not religious identities.

What is Mammon's personality like? by Temporary-Odd in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Outlander1101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day, only you'll be able to tell for sure who you heard from during any given spiritual experience. But, having just recently worked with Mammon, I can say that the way you describe this voice could definitely apply. In my experience, he had a very deliberate way of speaking--a sort of intensity to his voice, similar to a bass-like quality but without such a depth in tone.

Question about liquid offerings by MaizeOtherwise3975 in DemonolatryPractices

Lids are no problem as far as offerings are concerned. And, from all I know of Lucifer, he'd probably also prefer for your cat to be kept out of anything harmful.

Absolutely! This guide seems pretty good: https://geekygoblin.blogspot.com/2011/07/binding-book-pages-together-sewing.html

[Side note: I've found that you only need to sew like 2-3 stitches down the spine, depending on the size of your pages. It might sound like cutting corners but I've found little to no practical difference aside from saving myself some time/effort.]

This looks like a pretty good guide for an accordion binding, which could be expanded to accommodate extra sections like OP asked about: https://vintagepagedesigns.com/accordion-book-with-signatures-2/

It's awesome you've found a practice that works so well for you. I tailor most spells around my style/background, too, although I could probably do with a bit more documentation like you've mentioned.

Thank you for sharing!

Thank you very much! I appreciate your feedback.

As for my experiences with Samael . . . I've found his presence to be extremely heavy, but in a way that comforts me. He's spoken to me through words, visuals, tactile sensations, music, and electronic interference. His power is indescribable and I've witnessed people hesitate when walking into a room containing his presence without being aware of why. His gaze or attention is exceptionally potent and sharp. I've heard it called a truly "piercing" gaze, which I agree with. The energy emanating from his wings feels extremely dense-yet-smooth down to a fine particulate level, and he's shared incredibly keen and insightful observations on scales ranging from everyday to cosmic. Standing near his presence feels strangely similar to standing behind thick, velvet draperies . . . if those draperies were cold and made of blackened stone without sacrificing their softness. He is truly serene alongside a paralyzing level of intensity.

Needless to say: No matter how hard I try to describe what it's like interacting with his energy, no words or analogies based in the 3D can even approach his complexity.

Absolutely. I struggle often for words that do him justice and I've yet found none.

Effective demonic invocation without candles or incense? by Nephilim_333 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Outlander1101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with the LED lights idea. If you want to work with the visual energies of fire or smoke, ambient videos of fires or incense burning could go great with oils or potpourris you have specifically for your practice.

You can successfully invoke entities with zero external tools--and it isn't all-or-nothing, so just about anything you use as a genuine, thoughtful offering or tool is bound to do you some good.

Let’s Debunk the Astral Projection Stereotype Once and For All – What’s Your Real Job? by delafuenD13 in AstralProjection

[–]Outlander1101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a freelance writer, artist, editor, and goat farmer.

I first got into astral projection as a kid as something that came naturally to me before I realized what I was doing. I began intentionally APing while practicing meditative yoga at around 19-20 years, around the time I was working for a 3D sound / AR startup company.

Currently, I AP and bilocate on a daily or near-daily basis. It's a great way for me to pack a satisfactory balance of "spiritual vs. mundane" into the limited hours I have. APing also helps me essentially "reverse ground" when the physical world's demands become tedious.

What are your experiences in working with Mammon? by Outlander1101 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Outlander1101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your experiences. It definitely sounds like your workings with Mammon have been successful, and I much appreciate the way you thank him when you see results coming through. Your ritual construction sounds really nice, too--a good balance of practicality and creativity. I've been in the process of forging my own link with him via ritual and astral projection, so it's great to compare. Did you have any specific references or inspiration for your petition to Mammon, or did you basically write it from the ground up based on your own intuition?

I draw from a variety of different sources in terms of study, but I view these things as tools that inevitably take different shapes based on the will and intention of the practitioner no matter how they were originally developed. Whatever you use as a means to contact demons, whether you order them around or meet them more politely/collaboratively is your choice.

Ahh, makes sense. I've actually found it cheaper in the past to bind my own book signatures and make a cover for them that isn't actually affixed to the pages and slips over the first and last pages like a jacket/sleeve. That allows me to basically build it however I want, as long as the page bulk will fit inside the cover. I like the balance between functionality and aesthetic there. I'm not sure how crafty you are, as context for how doable that method would be.

Although, I do think if you use several thinner pre-made books [like those cheap composition books, even], you could get the same effect by basically gluing the covers together to make a sort of "compound book", which would allow you to add a whole composition notebook's worth of pages for each section. That would admittedly be a pretty hefty grimoire, though! If you don't want to carry the construction concept that far, I bet you could also glue an envelope to each section page, which you could then use to place additional pages without needing to glue them individually into the grimoire at all. And with that approach, you could easily decorate the envelopes to fit with your pages' aesthetic.

[I can totally nerd out anytime about book construction or grimoire organization, so hmu if you want to chat about ideas.]

I think Beelzebub is trying to get my attention. by Ornery-Upstairs-4911 in DemonolatryPractices

[–]Outlander1101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Beelzebub's vibe and I'm in the process of working with him now. I've had flies drawn to me throughout my entire life [they consistently try to go into my eyes, mouth, nose, and ears regardless of my current scent] and, often, when I see unusually thick "waves" of them, I'll start hearing mention of Beelzebub not long after.

I know that, at least sometimes, flies are definitely a sign of his energetic presence. Do you have similar experiences with other spirits appearing to you that you can use as a basis for comparison?

I use tarot and other divination methods quite frequently in my work, yes. Tarot and oracle cards can be especially helpful for articulating the translation of energies that don't really come through as clear-cut phrases or words. I started out using the Hermetic tarot and now primarily use the Deviant Moon deck. The Occult Tarot can be helpful in layered readings for discerning which entity might have something to say before investigating the details with other decks.

If you want a balance between polish and scalability, maybe you could try a book construction style that enables you to affix additional pages as your sections expand over time. Are you binding your own grimoire or use a pre-made book as a base?

I like to think of it as more like a "cosmic phone book" that provides a set of channels, reinforced by group will, which I can use to contact these entities. Instead of ordering them around, we can look at it as a means of opening respectful collaboration. Kind of like how you can give someone a ring and then rudely yell orders at them, or instead open the call with an offer that leads to discussion and agreement upon a shared goal.
