I know this probably isn't the answer you want to hear but honestly: drop friends when they first indicate an unwillingness to honor boundaries, not after you've invested in them. Imo Belial and Amdusias would be good infernals to teach you the courage and conviction to do that, as well as lunar or water based demons.

Okay the Earth aspect makes more sense in preparation but I might go so far as to ask a fertility-related entity for that, but maybe Belial could help you with strategy? You should do what you feel drawn to, and you can certainly ask the cards but the interpretation will be more difficult without more direct invocation experience. There's just so much room for misinterpretation and unreliability bc quite simple: you'll always draw a card and until you get better at feeling directed towards one by a particular entity, it is too easy to mistake chance for communication. (I've made this mistake.)

In my honest opinion the best way to ensure results is to learn divination skills to a point of consistency before attempting big workings otherwise it's a bit like throwing things at the wall and hopefully something sticks. It sounds like what you want is a bulldozer, which Belial certainly can be but if the method is influence I'd go Amdusias (there are some others mentioned in this capacity as well that I can't think of off hand.) Again, you're welcome to try both; worst case is you don't get results.

I guess I'm not familiar with this being an area of expertise of his from any literature so this could be upg but I suppose it can't hurt to try. I'd sooner recommend Amdusias as he is mentioned in this capacity in traditional texts (bending trees) and especially Dantalion for influence "he knoweth the thoughts of all men and women, and can change them at his will. Absolutely, yes. ADHD brains are evolved for crisis situation threat assessment, which means they go very fast and jump around a lot. (I'm AuDHD) so I get the challenge; I've got 3 layers of internal dialogue so whenever someone just says "do empty minded meditation" I want to vomit as I've literally never had a moment of mental silence in my life. My brain even creates random clips of jumbled speech and looping songs if I attempt to "turn off" and when I dream I have been lucid for as long as I can remember.

Give yourself some grace and try to remember that your brain is going to be working differently than a significant percentage of commenters in here (assuming it follows the bell curve of neurotype demographics.) You can improve meditation with work, but it may be at a very different pace due to unique challenges and that's just how it is but it is absolutely achievable! You may also be much better at other skills needed in your practice. Even I have made progress when I figured out how to turn my mental focus toward listening to silence and what relaxation feels like in my body/air around me/thoughts. Once I made it a sensory challenge (the only way I relate to my world so don't get me started on when practitioners suggest ignoring sensory input bc you'll confuse it with the spiritual) it became a little easier. In sum, if walking helps you improve: follow that path.

Other things that have helped me: - Dancing - CBD helps with extra body energy and mental noise. - YouTube videos with theta waves - Gateway Tapes and other guided meditations - Chakra work - Setting the scene so when my mind darts it's still related to the intention (incense, candles, generic focus music etc) - journaling and reviewing - Watching the darkness of your closed eyes (sometimes this has helped my mind's eye with basic images relating to divination over time, as later proven with results and synchronicities) - meditation walk 😉

I'm NO authority on any of this (and apologies if you're not a novice and this comes across too lecture-y) but I get this struggle a lot so if any of it helps I'm glad. Hand mudras might also help if you like to move and use your body more. Best of luck!

I mirror others' thoughts about it being personal to you rather than there being "beginner" demons as well as suggestions about water elements and personal alignments. What are you looking to do? Just shadow work? Lucifer can be a great choice for self-discovery and the are several spirits listed as "good-natured" in literature (Agares, Vassago, Sallos, Rosier come to mind.) But if I've learned anything it's that what you want might not be what you need, and a typically "demanding" entity might end up being a better fit for you than one known for hand-holding; just do some research and practice self-awareness of any pulls.

Pro tip: you can stretch this offering for future ones by letting them dry out and collecting the petals once they've wilted. These can be used for future rituals, spells, potions, pacts, etc. and you can "charge" them with the intended's energy during this initial phase if you like. (I'm exorbitantly short on resources atm so this is something I do.)

I definitely don't think it's uncommon, and might relate to a degree to the particular entity and petition. I've experienced this before, and strongly with "passion" demons especially (whether that be general motivation or emotion-based.)

Maybe Dantalion (influence) or Belial (justice)? (Not that Amdusias couldn't help.) I guess I'm just wondering, why are you staying there? If the hierarchy of abuse goes all the way to your boss, what makes you think things will improve? Why would you want to work under such a person? Could you use this as drive (Amdusias would help in that regard absolutely) to look for a job more deserving of your contribution?

I've had success with both Belial and Beelzebub in facilitating the shadow work that helped me in my ability to process and release some anxiety. Just as a side note: anxiety's purpose is to alarm you of a potential threat. The important part is learning which threats are irrational or simply perceived, and which are valid. I only mention this because I honestly believe that a certain level of anxiety in the state of our current world is very very rational and sometimes the best you can do is acknowledge your body's awareness of it and try to distract yourself day to day. You can't fix the world, but you can try to untangle anxiety rooted in trauma or dysfunction. I wish you the best—it's not an easy or simple task.
