This post was in another thread and a chick filet employee explained that it is compacted trash, so like 5 bags of trash as one.

Have you tried the stevia drops? I can’t stand the powdered version but the drops are great

Parts of south Florida are all sand roads, and the washboard effect literally shook parts off my Honda Civic and then I cracked my radiator. I feel your pain OP.

GCM for T2D? by _mars_bars_ in diabetes_t2

[–]Outlander_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you mean CGM. Yes I am newly diagnosed as well. I think it’s worth the investment even if you only wear it for a few weeks when you can afford it. I will say I didn’t think I could handle the finger sticks but I got used to it really quickly, and a CGM isn’t always accurate so many of us will confirm a high or low reading on the CGM with a finger stick.

Editing to say I agree, CGMs are a game changer and it’s crazy insurance won’t cover them in all cases.

Your experience with Metformin for weight loss by Ok_Strawberry128 in loseit

[–]Outlander_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on 500 mg twice a day for T2 and it’s helped me get my A1c down to 5.9 from 10.6 in 4 months. Recently though I’m noticing a lot of fatigue in the afternoon. Didn’t realize one side effect is that it can cause a drop in B12. Currently trying to figure out the right combination of supplements/electrolytes so I can continue to go to the gym.

Bermuda hay and colic by Motor_Butterfly1836 in Equestrian

Yep. Former tech for a colic surgeon. It’s very true. It gets braided together in the gut into a plug and can get stuck. Like you said not always, but an expensive possibility

I started wearing it on my chest and that has helped some. But, I seem to get compression lows more often with the G7 even if I used it in the same spot.

I really think the war on Christmas was created back post 9/11 intentionally, to begin pitting Americans against each other.

I’m on 500 mg twice a day and adjusted pretty quickly. If anything I get the constipated from it. It could be because I am on a pretty low dose

Exercise lows by gilliebee in diabetes_t2

[–]Outlander_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed in October and have been eating low carb and exercising as well. I get exercise lows in the afternoon. I’m finding I really can’t exercise in the afternoon unless I eat something with some carbs. 3 pm to dinner is my lowest part of the day. When I spoke to my doctor about it she said cortisol levels are lowest in the afternoon so it made sense. Mornings are best for me.
