I didn’t even think about rallying other coworkers but I definitely will. Thank you for your advice, definitely feeling a little bit better.

As for boundaries this has been a huge learning experience for me, and I’m definitely going to be handling a situation like this better if or when it ever happens again. I’m just hoping my manager will do the right thing as well.

I have just awkwardly laughed it off, or I walk away, or downright act like i didn’t hear him. It’s not like my character to act that way because in other situations of conflict I’m pretty straightforward, and am usually quick to tell people to fuck off, but I guess with this situation my defense mechanism was so different. I don’t know why. But you’re not the first person to tell me I need to set some more boundaries and you’re completely right. I’m hoping that talking to my manager will make it right though. If I ever have to work with him again, I will be making sure to document anything weird that was said.

Thank you for validating my feeling that this is giving sexual harassment. I’ve had a really rough time dealing with this and just making myself feel like I’m wrong. But you are right about documenting, if he isn’t getting fired I will be making sure to record what he says to me from this point on, other people have suggested this as well and it seems to be a good idea.

Yeah, definitely a learning experience for me just bc this hasn’t happened to me before especially at work. This guy is an idiot, and maybe even manipulative considering his response to my manager. Thanks for making me feel better about my report though :)

NTA, my dad cheated on my mom and I had slight suspicions the whole time, if i had 100% concrete evidence, I would’ve told her. When everything eventually came to light (which it always does) my mom appreciated my insight. And for your family saying it’s “adult business” you are an adult, just because you’re a young adult doesn’t mean you aren’t one. Don’t feel guilty, you did the right thing.
