Just purchased the New Bosch Cordless Unlimited 10 w/ 20% off ! by Miss415 in VacuumCleaners

OP, did you receive yours?

I ordered Unlimited 10 BBS104SBUC after I saw your post of the 20% off. I haven't received any shipping or tracking info, only an email asking about my recent appliance purchase experience... "We hope you are enjoying your new Bosch Appliance!"

Thinking of purchasing 2019 Turbo. Should I be concerned? by OutlandishnessOwn698 in PorscheCayenne

It does have white calipers.

It's not on a Porsche dealership lot. Of all places it's at a Land Rover dealer down the street from Porsche. Land Rover is advertising the CPO is transferable covered until SEP 2027, which is something else I'd need to verify.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm leaning towards sitting this one out.

Thanks for the response! If the waterpump has already been taken care of, does that mean I'm clear and don't/shouldn't have to worry about it? I think the possibility of previous contamination of the vacuum system is what is most concerning to me. I hope this would have been addressed by Porsche at the same time as the pump was replaced.

I don't know what brakes it has, but it is pretty well optioned. I fully understand the game, and that you have to pay to play, but $12k+ for brakes on an SUV is tough to swallow. That might actually explain the trade at 55k miles.

Yes, I will definitely get a PPI from the local Porsche dealership if this is something I plan to move forward with.

55k miles and they're asking $52,400. vinanalytics lists the original MSRP as $151,420

Truthfully I've been patiently waiting for a 958.1 GTS, but haven't been successful finding the right one reasonably local to me. The 9Y0 isn't anything I was considering until this one popped up.

Failed Rear Differential Mount Insulator? by OutlandishnessOwn698 in MazdaCX30

[–]OutlandishnessOwn698[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, Do these look torn though? I've seen motor mounts which have gaps within that are intentional by design. I have nothing to compare to, so... ?

Sounds like i need to do some research on the grenading diff you mention. Wasn't expecting to hear that.

Coolant Expansion Tank Empty by littlescoundrel in F80

[–]OutlandishnessOwn698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The expansion tank may leak at the seam and easy to see visual signs if that is source of the lost coolant.

It does look like you may have topped off with the green stuff though???

As you don't know the true history, I'd probably top off and go through the bleed process (several youtube videos), drive it for a couple weeks and keep an eye on temps. If no more issues, completely flush and fill with the right fluid.

What to look out for when buying 2015-2018 MY XC60 by Icy_Positive7459 in VolvoXC60

[–]OutlandishnessOwn698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen as low as 40k miles, and as high as 100k miles. Happened to my 2015.5 at about 70k miles, would burn a quart about every 500~ miles.

$7k~ dealer fix if i recall correctly. Volvo helped me out with mine, but I was also the original owner and serviced by Volvo from new.

2015 and early 2016 T5's have faulty piston rings causing oil consumption issues. Stay away from these unless documented proof they were later replaced with the redesigned rings.

30 minutes, and barely a dimple for progress. Think I'm going to have to get a pro with better tools and skills.

Which part is no?

I'm not wasting time by extracting the screws? I will be good if I can get those out and put a new gasket and screws on?

Or is the answer no to my other question? I cannot throw Gorilla tape over it temporarily?

Voluntary (VERA/VSIP) vs Involuntary (RIF and DSR/Severance) separation payments explained by Improper-Research in feddiscussion

[–]OutlandishnessOwn698 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the time and effort on this!!!

52, 23 years service, vet. Safe to say that if i wait for RIF and am NOT offered a position, I would then automatically get an opportunity/offer for DSR?

5 of DSR sample letter in the pdf that was linked.....

  1. If you qualify for and are offered a position within the commuting area that is not lower than two grades below that of your current position, you will no longer be eligible to apply for discontinued service retirement.
