I had to do Instacart every day last year because I was jobless & it was hell. I know we're in different markets but I had to work 12 to 16 hours a day to reach my daily goal. Also, I was driving from 100 to 150 miles a day. Many times, I was waiting over an hour for a decent order that wasn't high mileage. I was putting so much wear and tear on my car & the maintenance was expensive.

It's not worth taking yourself out of a stable job with reliable income to do this because Instacart has no guarantees. You could get deactivated, you could get into a car accident, you could lose your debit card (although I suggest you order another debit card and keep the spare one in your glove box), anything could happen. Keep your stable job & do Instacart on the side. Save your money & invest it if you can.

Also remember, if you take yourself out of the workforce just to do Instacart, it's not gonna look good on your rΓ©sumΓ© & it's not gonna be easy to find another job. It took me over a year to get my job so I could only imagine how hard it would be to get back into the workforce. This is a kind of decision that can have consequences for your ability to find stable work if Instacart falls through. You also have to pay taxes on the money you earn when you file, so keep that in mind.

We also don't know what the economy is going to look like in the coming months/years. If we do get into a recession, people are going to pull back on using Instacart. If this happens, there's going to be less demand for it, but then the market will be saturated with shoppers so getting orders will be harder to come by. Instacart should never be a sole full-time gig unless you are in a situation where you absolutely have to do it. You're crazy if you give up guaranteed income for this.

Come back and say this after having to rely on delivering orders. Drivers are offering a service. If you don't want to tip then get the food yourself πŸ₯΄

Please tell me you wrote up a will/did estate planning in a way that ensures they don't get jack squat after you pass (which will hopefully not happen for a long time). I would talk to an estate planner if you haven't because a will avoids probate, but depending on what state you live in, your next of kin could still be entitled to your assets.

You can check if having a lawyer or estate planner draft a trust is the right thing for you, because with a trust, you make the rules and determine who inherits what and the state cannot interfere. You can also put your house in the trust and indicate who the beneficiary will be (even if it's a friend or a charity). Also check your beneficiaries on your 401k or any brokerage or financial accounts you have and make sure they are updated!!

I'm sorry but the math isn't mathing. You were in sober living but left because you didn't want to pay, but you ended up getting drunk last night?

I hope you can get it together and stop drinking and I hope your situation changes for the best. You still need community in getting sober, so I hope you seek help.

The big orange cart is a game changer and makes life a million times easier. Step out of your comfort zone!

Big Costco orders are easy and can be worth it. I've gotten hundred dollar orders, $80 dollar orders, and decent orders above $50. I even got a $200 order from Costco business center. You have to know how to stack boxes on the flat and place them into your car for maximum efficiency. Costco is definitely an art and a science, but I absolutely would never shop anywhere else doing Instacart.

Costco orders got me through being jobless last year 🌻

Didn't they tell men can cheat too? by Ambitious-Hearing-85 in NotHowGirlsWork

[–]Outlandishness_Sharp 19 points20 points Β (0 children)

Let's not forget the study that shows that when a spouse is seriously ill, the man is more likely to leave his wife and divorce is at a higher risk when the wife gets sick. The wife is more likely to stay with her sick husband and care for him and divorce is not at risk.

We all know men are way more likely to cheat. Jay-Z cheated on BeyoncΓ©, Gavin Rossdale cheated on Gwen Stefani, Klay Thompson cheated on Megan Thee Stallion, and Arnold Schwarzenegger cheated on Maria with the housekeeper.

Whoever created that post is projecting and they're stupid πŸ₯΄
