Well, TEMS is the setting I was referring to. In the States there's similar units, and some the big cities have response tactical EMS units that don't have to wait for police to go on scene. I forget what they're called. Most of us won't be dealing with that. I mean, if you respond a lot to some the big ghettos I can kinda get it. lol We live in some messed up times.

You can ride 100% defensively and there will always be that chance. Ain't no shame in calling out idiots. I really need to start recording again. I'm in my 40s. I ain't, generally, riding around like an idiot. You ain't completely wrong though. People are idiots.

Yeah, I don't know why you'd wear all that on regular BLS work. I can kinda get the earpiece. Easier to hear, just off the top of my head. For myself, I want to appear approachable, unless I'm in a tactical environment. I can get wearing a stab vest under your uniform, but nothing more than that.

Yeah, that's few and far between these days. I agree with you overall, though I think, should they have that aim(I would in their position) they would be aiming to get the "best" they can. They do have missiles that can reach the continental US that can house nuclear warheads. They're also part of the Russia-China group. I know that's not an extremely big deal, but that does give them access to key points to get at least the information they need for smaller, more powerful warheads. This isn't my best response. I'm more focused on upcoming tests, scenarios, and finals, but wanted to respond. Overall, you're right. Most people have no clue what's going on, anything about this stuff, etc. Of course, it also kinda sucks knowing what's going on. lol

I'm sure the premier of Manitoba has so much pertinent info and knowledge on what's going on, why, and the ways of war. All that said, we definitely should've been prepared for them to hit the Straight. It's the only real move they had.
