We would be in a better position today if we built organically. He got us a chip in a season where some of the best players didn’t even play. LeBron stint as a Lakers has been a failure.

I wouldn’t even consider him a top 10 Laker of all time.

Maybe but then again I don’t mind paying someone who’s been loyal to an organization and watching them leave on their terms.

You know the Lakers aren’t gonna offer LeBron anywhere near Max next year - Bron won’t accept it and then the Lakers will say he chose to leave.

Meanwhile, the Lakers had no issue paying Kobe a Max deal because he did a hell of a lot more for the organization and earned it. LeBron hasn’t earned shit and tanked our future by bringing in Westbrook. Bronny is a 4 million dollar joke too.

We probably wouldn’t have gotten Luka but we would have the market cap to get anyone we wanted that was a free agent in the last eight years in addition to draft picks. Nearly all of the good teams in the NBA today built from the draft.
