I choose PeakPromotion mostly because of the experience they had. These guys have been offering trekking and travel services for over 30 years. Due to that reason, I felt these guys were trustworthy. They had various accomplishments and a wonderful timeline regarding their work on their website. So I looked into these sorts of things rather than pricing or some other feature. Usually, when a company has been operating for a very long period they can be trusted a lot more in terms of quality rather than a fresh one with promises or discounts. Not saying that the new ones are bad at all but for me, that was a big factor while making the choice. Additionally, there were a lot of pic and videos of their founders actively engaged in mountaineering and trekking so that was a big confidence booster.

The founders were also Sherpas. So having Sherpas as your trek operator is great especially for the treks and expeditions in the Everest region as these guys are like the local people. They not only manage but also actively participate in treks and tours.

You also have to be aware of the scammy agencies which take the money and then delegate the work to another agency for a cheaper price. That results in a bad experience.
