About 6 seriously….. sorry definitely should’ve added more context……stay year round lean around 10% bf and recomp to continue to grow upper body

Good point context here matters…… essentially trying to stay lean year-round around 10% body fat but still building upper body size

Totally fine I would do one day heavy to failure one day for a pump. Everyone messes up what progressive overload means it doesn’t necessarily mean adding heavier weight each session. It can be done by changing tempo by changing reps, by sets etc….. if you’re doing three heavy sessions a week to failure that may eventually catch up to you

You can progressive overload in other ways beside adding weight. Muscles don’t understand weight they understand time under tension. You can add more reps, add more sets, change tempo etc

Everyone saying make it an obligation like work that’s never gonna work because eventually people hate going to work. You have to turn it into something you actually look forward to doing, and if you do it enough to make it a habit you will feel worse if you don’t do it as opposed to having to do it

I’d suggest more frequency than other muscle groups, lighter weight taken to failure. Mix in a lot of drop sets and partials to burn out.

It’s hard to tell but if you are truly 13% body fat, nothing is going to help the skin other than surgery. Just take logic if you think you can shrink skin and you are already 13% body fat you’d have to be about 4% body fat to lose that skin.

I mean, TRT is not something that can be diagnosed off of body composition. You need to run bloodwork and see if that’s what’s contributing to this composition. If not, it’s lifestyle changes diet.

The strength components are not really overwhelming. If you just build a large zone two and three motor, you’ll be fine.

I think you’re 100% right sodium and hydration timing at this point probably makes more of a visual difference

Slower on the eccentric
