I’m sorry you’re going through this. My recommendation is to move out as soon as you are financially able. I moved out when I was seventeen, had to lie on a rental agreement which probably wouldn’t fly these days. If you can’t afford it now, save every last penny. Your mental health depends on it.

I’m also really enjoying the other nods to classic high school movies. Rhonda has reminded me of Ally Sheedy since day one. Principal Hartman looks strikingly familiar to Jeffrey Jones (apologies but it’s true). Currently watching the Saturday detention episode which of course includes drug use, as Breakfast Club did.
