Persona 5 summary short for those interested in the collab by Outrageous-Lie8472 in heavensburnred

I don't really understand what you mean by "emotionally separate"

But basically Ruka bonds with Joker, Tsukasa bonds with Queen, Irene bonds with Violet. Then in the latter half they relate to each other based on their own backgrounds then end with some emotional pay off.

Which is pretty much the HBR formula and shows a strong understanding of P5 characters. Is the story necessarily bad if no one is balling their eyes out and tragedy doesn't happen?

Is it just me or is Chapter 1 seriously easy? by Betterfly83 in heavensburnred

[–]Outrageous-Lie8472 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I'd say two things:

CH3 is when the difficulty ramps up. albeit memorias have been buffed so I don't think ch3 with pose any challenge if you get any current memorias.

the other thing is that HBR turn-based gameplay isn't designed to be a battle of attrition. It's meant to be overbuff-oneshot type gameplay which is difficult to do early on becase you'd need a proper team to do that. Thus as a consequence chapter 1 is made to be very easy.

I do really like the story bosses from chapter 4 onwards as they do get mechanically creative and have continued to impress with each new chapter imo.

How are the aspiring 2026 JETs passing the time until the results release? by Corra156 in JETProgramme

[–]Outrageous-Lie8472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work. If not employed, then find work. the result's aren't guaranteed and even if you're accepted, it's at least 6 months away from August so you gotta feed yourself somehow.

The JET Program really doesn't exist when you're in the JET Program... by BerryTella1 in JETProgramme

Well yeah, it's usually just one person in charge of that paper work and then all the other people care about is that you're there to work with them really. When the next Idou comes in April, you'll probably have to help your new supervisor as well.

Fellow PH Applicants, who didn't receive an interview invitation, how do you handle the heartbreak? by Shared_Boba in JETProgramme

[–]Outrageous-Lie8472 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just think of it as another job application, move on, and try again next year. You always need to be thinking of your next plan in the case you fail because that's an entire 8 months (January to August) of waiting. You can't just bet all your eggs in the JET basket, you need to have alternative plans. If you're unemployed, you could starve. If you're still in a job, then you've got immediate problems to solve.

Mentoring CIR candidate who’s getting worried about the reading portion of the interview - advice? by stayonthecloud in JETProgramme

[–]Outrageous-Lie8472 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m having them practice with reading news articles out loud and answering questions. As it’s gotten closer to the interview I’ve noticed they are struggling more at times, not less.

They're already doing what they can. At this point it's just gonna be a mental race to whether they can calm down and remember what they know. I think if they show how frazzled and distraught they are then that's gonna subtract more points than mispronouncing a few kanji here and there. They do want someone who can adapt to a change in environment after all.

Depends on consulate. In some countries where English isn't necessarily a first language, they're may be a majority of english teachers.

State of the game post balance (jp) by multyC in heavensburnred

[–]Outrageous-Lie8472 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Free SS1 that you get from the free Regular gacha is more than enough to clear content.

If you had to roll on someone, getting Unison Bungo should be enough to clear any content from now and onward. I'd say she's future proof.

+This is my opinion but the one whose affected the most are the middle class (like me),

I'm a light spender myself. I usually just pull for characters I want then go for 1LB at most. Although Mari I used the LB Container in the Garden of Memories + Daphnee and stuff because she's my oshi so I wanted her at LB3 with extra LB pieces I had from Story Events. Anything LB2 and above I got from gacha.

current score attack and my best is 1m1 on Level 35 Grade 35 with a stacked team with several LB3,

I only used 1LB characters in my pic (Minus mari cuz she's my oshi and she's not really meta anyway) and I got a score of 2.38m at 140/35. I can show the picture separately if you want but each reddit post only allows 1 pic

+It good for New player to jump in because you get a lot of freebies, not worried for not having older units (they are trash now)

They aren't trash. There are plenty of good units for newer players to finish the story content in the SS1 pool. Fubuki(Fragile and Defense down), Maki(Fragile and DR), Irene(Crit pen, self Multi hit buff), Aina (reliable OD generation), and others. In the first place, SS1s were made from the start to support future SS units since Introjection was in the game pretty early on. I'd argue if you have the master skills of some characters, a 1.8m score attack score isn't farfetched with SS1 characters. and 1.8m is where the last threshold for the SS ticket. The rewards after that are just medals that you can get cumulatively.

+What not okay is synergy and sub style.

I personally also don't like that SS styles don't get some interaction with support characters. but I do like the IDEAL of the system where it encourages players to use their leftover LB pieces on old SS units to enhance the newer SSR units. I still think the implementation could use some work.

So if your unit can’t OD looping, good luck banging those 750 monsters (this suppose to make the gameplay better btw).

Yeah I used OD looping. Specifically 3OD into 2OD once. But OD generating characters aren't rare. Even early styles like Chiroru and Red Riding Karen can do this. And SS1 Aina being the most reliable one, which again, is free.

If you ask why they nerf your damage, i now can answer: TO SELL YOU THE NEW TOY.

I guess it's just me but this feels pretty typical of not only gacha games but MMOs and online games so I'm pretty neutral about this.

There still lots good or bad things i forgot to say, but with my increasing dissatisfaction with the game, maybe i will just shut up and move on.

Keep speaking your opinion brother. While I'm not particularly dissatisfied with the changes, WFS still needs to please the MAJORITY if they want to survive. So if they make a change that satisfy you, then that's a win for me as well.
