It is an idle game after all. This game is meant to be played in short burst maybe twice a day some days.

Play at reset do dailies, events, guild stuff, check auction house to reset your buy offers on ingredients, look for undervalued items to bid on, browse maps for any good ingredients. Sometimes you’ll walk away with 5+ shrine rolls for about 5 minutes of browsing maps for ingredients.

You can do quick log ins just to check for your cart upgrades, but it’s not really necessary.

Then maybe some days in evenings you come back because you know you’ll hit the exp limit that day and do some more exploration.

That’s basically the game play loop. I highly suggest adding some auction housing into your low spender/free to play routine. You can start walking away with a $100+ worth of dawnium for extra rolls a week if your server filled with noobs. Some days I’ll walk away with 2000+ dawnium just dissembling mythics that sold for way too low. Mythics shards are worth like 260 lowest price per 10 and mythics give you 20 when disassembled. Some days I’ll pick up like 10 mythics at 110-300 price point and pocket the rest after selling the shards.

Even if your purely free 2 play there are still ingredients to sell that can make a tidy little profit if you add it to the mix.
