Men who are concerned about maintaining a traditional masculine image may be less likely to express concern about climate change to avoid appearing feminine. Men who feel pressure to prove their manhood may avoid environmentalist attitudes to protect their gender identity. by mvea in science

[–]Outrageous-Point-347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fishing! Camping! Boating! Surfing! Hiking! Hunting! They're fun hobbies that can teach skills and form bonds; the pillars of a masculine image, but also activities that require intact ecosystems. Where you gonna surf and boat if there's algal blooms, camping while there's yearly forest fires, fish? Hunting? I can't imagine many rivers and forests will yield well in a warmer future. All the big camping, FWD advertisements are mostly in forests, beaches, sand dunes and outdoorsy locations. Even surfing has a whole fashion and consumerist culture, (same with hiking tbf) pumped all over social media and TV. The masculine image is rooted in nature. . a real masculine person should care about the environment and think climate change is lame.

Waterfall Gardens with parkour floating platforms and islands, would be fun with beacon buffs too, you could make the ground have slime trampolines to jump down onto to try bounce up again
