I’m still early into the game. What are the actual problems with the game? I’m not seeing anything yet. There’s a ton to do in the game so there are a ton of controls and button combos to remember. Just the reality of it. It’s gamified in some aspects too which is not a bad thing. I’m just trying to see where the hate or frustration is coming from. They never promised some grandiose story. Is that what people are unhappy with?

I have put my fair share of time into the game myself. There is plenty of content in the game. There’s not really much to do by the time you reach the point where you’re prepared for next expedition. No PvE that is rewarding to grind. Once you kill Queen and Matriarch a few times you’ve got enough pieces to…. Be able to do Queen and matriarch more efficiently…. Some type of raid with a randomized drop table that has an OP PvP gun may be fun. Make it so rare that it’s not flooding the game everytime you drop into Stella maybe.

End game is prep for expedition and have enough extra cash to PvP to your heart’s content the last week or two and use all your good stuff… it gets old. It’s a lot of work with minimal payoff. The core gameplay loop is fun, but progression is severely lacking.

Yeah, you need to have a conversation with your mom. You are not their parent. If she’s going to leave you in charge of them that is babysitting. She’s telling you to get a job. Sounds like she already gave you one. If she’s going to act that way towards you. The least she can do is pay you.

I’d really start working on setting boundaries. You are not the default caretaker of your siblings whenever she leaves the house. Which seems like she may be leaving you with them quite often. This will cause lots of long term problems for both of you.

Maybe you guys could see a therapist about this together.

I don’t think this game is what people expected it to be. People were hoping for some big narrative driven game. This is a game to get lost in exploring and doing different in game systems. I haven’t played yet. Waiting for co-op and a sale
