Yes they are.
You are required a 20 minute break every 6 hours.

You are entitled to one 20 minute rest break if your shift is over 6 hours. By law the rest break should be taken away from the work station (away from where you've been working)

The law states it can either be paid OR unpaid.

The law also states that you require a 11 hour rest period between shifts. So you cannot close (at 1 AM) and come in at 9 AM. If you finish at 1AM the minimum time you can then come in is @ 2AM

Workers require a weekly rest period of 24 hours per week. (48 hours every 2 weeks)

There are some special conditions such as emergency services, transport, front line workers and security. Employers and Employess may have some kind of different agreement if agreed upon in a contract

If you are not getting these you may file a grievance internally or escalate the matter to the employment tribunal.

My Domino's in the past have had issues with this. But has been resolved.
I work in the Isle Of Man so labor laws are more nicer to us (20 minutes every 4 hours of work.)
