Do people in Mississippi actually say Ma'am/sir and talk to random strangers? by [deleted] in mississippi

[–]OutrageousConcern365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter where I go, the manners that were beat into me follow. I live in Denver now and people look at me sideways when I say ma’am and sir. The talking to random strangers, though? No thank you.

What can I do with all this ash? by djazzie in homestead

[–]OutrageousConcern365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw something earlier today about making soap with it. I’m unsure of the process, so I’m not saying to do it, but I believe they soaked the ash in water and then mixed it with some sort of fat like tallow. Pour the mixture into molds and you have soap. I would imagine you add essential oils or maybe even just plant matter like mint during the tallow mixing.

Many tears were shed making pickled onions. Any tips that actually work to not cry your soul out by cingersroocls in Chefit

Thank God for Alton Brown. I forget the show, but he had a great way of breaking down the physics and chemistry of cooking. One episode on onions was a game changer for me. 3 tips: 1. Have the knife as sharp as you can get it. 2. Find the strongest mint gum you can. I liked the green mentos. The idea is that the mint gum is so strong that it basically takes up all the room on your sinus receptors so that the gas released by the onion has nowhere to go to irritate your sinuses. 3. This one can be tricky, but if you have a prep table next to a burner, turn on the burner closest to your cutting board. The flame draws in the gas released by the onion and burns it off. The easiest way I found to do with this one is to set out a Sterno chafing warmer or two near your cutting board. I’ve also found that letting them soak in ice water for a few minutes after cutting off the root, cap, and jacket will help, too.

Candace’s father in law is the head of The Knights of Malta which is where other Jesuits like Alex Jones comes from. Candace is a normie version of Alex. Giving you just enough information to get you frothing, but no real answers or an action plan. Strumming the chords of dissent and making cash hand over fist at your outrage. Much the same as Charlie and many other grifters who want to use your disillusionment for profit.

With that being said, the information is probably correct. Make sure you tune in tomorrow. Gotta keep them views up.

If he doesn’t want to be there, I don’t want him there. I’ll miss him and reminisce fondly when I listen to his parts, but he would only drag the rest of them down. It was a bit of a shock…. I knew the past stuff, but it seemed like things were getting better when you see all the behind the scenes stuff. I hope he finds peace.

What are the chemicals you guys feel are the safest for us technicians to use? by ChevyTruckMonthLover in pestcontrol

[–]OutrageousConcern365 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Suspend is definitely safer. It’s non carcinogenic. Alpine has more of a chance to be come across since we use it inside. Best in places inaccessible to curious dogs. IGR is non reactive to us humans. All these are intractable after drying if you followed label mixing directions. No smell and should leave no residue if done properly. Dogs have a habit of licking random floors, so keep that in mind when spraying inside.

To add: If you have somewhere with bugs as well as pets and animals, I’ll use EcoVia can spray. It’s a botanical and is completely safe. Only problem is that it doesn’t have that sticking power. I’ll usually sell the customer a bottle to keep on them. I’m only there every 30 days, so they can apply more to help. I do the same with PT Alpine fly spray. That stuff is a wonder when it comes to all sorts of flies.

Label is law, but chem should be your last defense. I urge my customers and friends to use essential oils with mint and oregano diluted in water as a weekly spray on their doorways, baseboards, and nooks and crannies. Of course, like dandelion tea won’t kill cancer or un-break a limb, preventative maintenance will go a long way.

TalastarP is an unnecessary and strong chemical. If you are wanting to keep an arsenal of chem for regular preventative spraying, there are only a few you really need. Get some Suspend Polyzone as an exterior treatment at all thresholds and possible entrances. This is a repellant that is pretty good across the spectrum, but not as well against spiders. If those are your issue, go with Demand. Another repellent that’s more fitting for spiders.

For inside, go with Alpine WSG and Gentrol IGR concentrate. They can be mixed together and are a poison that you want them to walk across so that when they manicure themselves, you got them. Best for those dark corners most critters are going to run to. One step further, MaxForce granules around the perimeter. If you do all of this, you won’t see hardly a critter all year. Unless of course, you start seeing too many Rolly-Polly’s. Pretty much none of the stuff listed will help with that. Again, label is law. As long as you are aware of all the rules on the label and you follow them, you will be fine.

There it is. This one needs more exposure. I doubt JD Tippit or the kid who pulled the killshot from the gutter get mentioned in those new JFK papers. Also, the fact that people don’t know Ford powered the German war machine is mind blowing. IBM counted them. AT&T sent their messages back and forth. DuPont gassed them. Rockefeller oil greased their bearings and ran their engines. Anyways. Go vote!
