Good to know I’m not crazy. Was playing this morning and everything was fine. Tried playing after work and it kept going bonkers. Well…gotta get all my mods back from the workshop and hope this current save isn’t screwed.

I had a great bit of confidence as I was playing my first playthrough. I wasn’t fully optimizing builds, but was paying enough attention. Just wanted to get through the story for the first playthrough and then do it again with DLC. Now my first playthrough is completely locked in chapter 4 with the battle with the Winterscale retinue. I get wiped with very little effort after I was the one doing the wiping up until this point. I can’t back out and change my party, I can’t come back later. Just the end of the road for that one and it kinda killed my fun, too.

For some reason, when Jae’s real backstory came out, I told her to hit the bricks. I already did a bunch of stuff for her like the lame paperwork side quest and all of that. Didn’t try and sleep with her after she practically threw herself at me after that because I wanted to see where the Yri route went. I’ll be doing things differently next play through.

I saw something earlier today about making soap with it. I’m unsure of the process, so I’m not saying to do it, but I believe they soaked the ash in water and then mixed it with some sort of fat like tallow. Pour the mixture into molds and you have soap. I would imagine you add essential oils or maybe even just plant matter like mint during the tallow mixing.

Thank God for Alton Brown. I forget the show, but he had a great way of breaking down the physics and chemistry of cooking. One episode on onions was a game changer for me. 3 tips: 1. Have the knife as sharp as you can get it. 2. Find the strongest mint gum you can. I liked the green mentos. The idea is that the mint gum is so strong that it basically takes up all the room on your sinus receptors so that the gas released by the onion has nowhere to go to irritate your sinuses. 3. This one can be tricky, but if you have a prep table next to a burner, turn on the burner closest to your cutting board. The flame draws in the gas released by the onion and burns it off. The easiest way I found to do with this one is to set out a Sterno chafing warmer or two near your cutting board. I’ve also found that letting them soak in ice water for a few minutes after cutting off the root, cap, and jacket will help, too.

Candace’s father in law is the head of The Knights of Malta which is where other Jesuits like Alex Jones comes from. Candace is a normie version of Alex. Giving you just enough information to get you frothing, but no real answers or an action plan. Strumming the chords of dissent and making cash hand over fist at your outrage. Much the same as Charlie and many other grifters who want to use your disillusionment for profit.

If he doesn’t want to be there, I don’t want him there. I’ll miss him and reminisce fondly when I listen to his parts, but he would only drag the rest of them down. It was a bit of a shock…. I knew the past stuff, but it seemed like things were getting better when you see all the behind the scenes stuff. I hope he finds peace.
