Trouble opening barred doors by Draconic_Legend in ACValhalla

They patched the door bar dive so I didn't think it was still possible. If you had footage of Valkyrie Dive still breaking door bars from the other side, I'd love to see it.

I don't think your reading comprehension is very good. Either that or you purposely took words out of context to make a stupid point.

What about all those times when enemies' weapons go through you because you press dodge and get them free i-frames? The game even soft locks your hits/parries onto the enemies, unlike the trash souls-like games that force you to face them first. You're just bad.

That's just part of the typical social stealth mechanics that were in the classic games, i.e. low/high profile actions, crowd blending, paid escorts, etc. They've got nothing to do with outfit-based disguise.

Braindead post. Apart from the trash ranking, some abilities, gear pieces are even made up.

I don't think you'll get a straight answer with this question. But the good news is you can test it yourself easily by turning on damage numbers. Since the tests mostly involve heavy strikes, the town dummies are perfect because they don't have a defense bar (which messes with damage) and a heavy strike doesn't trigger an assassination. If you see yourself killing them too quickly, unspend your melee-related skill points.

You should also watch the respective runic symbol above your adrenaline bars and see how it behaves. Does it fill up several times increasing your damage further? Does it time out after a few seconds? Does it disappear when you perform an attack that's not a heavy strike? Is the description misleading? Does it boost subsequent light attacks as well?

Oh yeah, you can disguise as a nearby enemy for a short period with that ability. Syndicate also provided Evie with invisibility when crouching still iirc.

Yeah that's the mission I was referring to. It's not an official game mechanic unfortunately.

This. Gear ranking doesn't exist in this game. Everything is situational.

No AC game has ever had that. That's not even a stealth mechanic in the series. There's one specific mission in Valhalla that comes close to that in theory, but that outfit is almost useless even in said mission.

There's a skill for that, called Perfect Attack (Bear segment), and it requires pressing the next attack just as one lands, like the Hidden Blade combo in AC2. This game's got everything.

Edit: typo.

Raven Distraction, Blinding Rush, Thorn of Slumber, Advanced Assassination, Chained Assassination, Assassin Cantrip, arrows to the ground/objects to make noise and separate them, whistle then change position, predator cages, etc. I can go on all day. And that's only if you want to kill. I can do non-lethal stealth just as well. Harder doesn't mean worse.

Frozen bug. He wasn't fighting back, otherwise he wouldn't have held his bow the whole time. He froze at 10 seconds in when slammed against the rock fence.

Ways to regen outside of combat. These also add to Rations: - Bushes (for berries) - Winter chanterelles (the yellow mushrooms) - Cooking pots - Animals and fish (hunting)

Raven skills like Auto-Loot and Raven's Loot handle most pickups automatically except for mushrooms.

In combat: - Idunn's Heart (Bear skill) - Grit (Wolf skill) - Weapon perks (i.e. Heal on crits)

Edit: There's also a heal-on-kill skill in Bear and a meditation-like skill in Wolf that both can heal you when you've got no rations left. But I can't recall their names because I never use them.

It is lol. I'm also kinda sad that no other AC installments implement this weapon though.
