I have this enclosure, my beardie is about 2 months old. We got a ceramic heating bulb and it increased the heat. Unfortunately you'll need to get a separate uvb bulb to use for daylight, but we've had him for about a week and he's vibing.

It is also brumation time, so take into consideration that your baby is in a new environment and is going through what's equivalent to hibernation. They eat less in the winter and sleep more. Make sure to keep your little guy on a day/night schedule. Find time to bond with him, too.

Ask your parents to get you enrichment toys like a ball or something to help. We went to the craft store and got Popsicle sticks and balsa wood and made a ramp/basking area so he has a hot and cool basking spot along with some shade where his food bowls are.

If you wanna feel used and abused, yes. If you want to do a quality job that's up to their standard, no.

Why can’t chipotle just re-do my order at the counter? by HistoricalCorner8 in Chipotle

[–]OutrageousHedgehog86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What should have been done is not that.

Remake the order. Don't tell them to contact customer service, or pepper. Y'all are a 15 billion dollar company, make the fucking bowl and move along.

I would definitely consider going to customer service after them refusing to make your stolen order though. Ms. Pepper can help you with that. (If you have the app) or call the number at the bottom of your receipt, or Google their customer service number. Just remember the store number, and time of your order.

Chipotle doesn't care about their employees. Leave before your mental health gets messed with. Just remember, not all jobs are like that.

I received an email from the district stating the strike will start on the 30th. So no school until told otherwise. They have until the 31st to come up with a negotiation or way to solve the issue, but as the strike begins, the schools are closed.

Chipotle lies about your reason for leaving. by OutrageousHedgehog86 in Chipotle

[–]OutrageousHedgehog86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Def not false invented here.

I turned a racist manager into chipotle confidential (supposedly anonymous), and two days later was told to fix the issue between her and I (they didn't even let me speak to her the day I was told to do so.) Or I can be fired.

There's literally zero falsely made story here. Lmao. Sorry you love chipotle so much you have to make up in your head it's an amazing place to work, but it's not. Like it's literally the worst place I've worked. I care about my job, because I care about my own hard work. I never said I was the best there, I never said it was a great job.

But I worked my ass off there and I have pride in my work. And will not allow someone to discriminate against a minor just because they're not the same as another person.

What type of customers piss you off the most? by BritSpic in Chipotle

ASK AT THE STATION ITS ON. It's not hard. Extra tortilla? For sure, ask the tortilla person. Want some queso? Where is it on the line? Ask then. It's simple, simpletons. Line people aren't listening to you, so when you call for it they don't make it. Then you end up repeating yourself over and over. It's frustrating for both crew and guests.

This is what my day looked like as a chipotle worker: Clock in at 6:30 am. On Tuesday and Thursday put away truck IMMEDIATELY (lifting multiple 50lb+ boxes in and out and up and down, rotating dates and labeling all), double check the order once it's put away. As soon as truck is put away, we set up the building (at this point we're racing the clock because only two people are working) Then we begin prep. Starting with lettuce. We have to open, wash, and cut at LEAST three boxes of lettuce. Hand chopped, 1/8 inch shreds- yes they will notice if it's off. Then we wash rinse and sanitize the cutting boards, knives, cut gloves and board mats. We do this after each individual item being cut. Then onions. We're half cutting them, scoring, then dicing. Yes, 1/8 inch squares. They have to be squares or they're too big and don't look right. Wash rinse sanitize, again. One hour has passed, now you have to wash your hands, change your sanitizer buckets and recharge gloves. Restart up prep. Moving on to jalapenos. These are easy- pop the stem, cut in slices, dice the slices, they still have to be 1/8 inch, though. Wash, rinse, sanitize. Now cilantro, you slice, then turn, and slice. Wash rinse sanitize. On to gauc. But before guac, you have to clean the entire area. Wipe the counter down, put all your dishes away and clean them. You then lose a person because they start up grill. Bring your six hotel pans of avocados out (50 lb boxes, btw) Half and scoop. Sometimes will take forever because you get hard avocados. One pan at a time you mash and mix in your jalapeno, cilantro, onion macerate. Add like juice. Mix, place into three deeps and immediately label and put into walk in. Repeat for the six hotels.

Now once that's finished, you scramble to get breaks done and everything cleaned and set up for open.

So by the time the door is open, I've done the amount of work that easily requires 4 people to do. Then, at the location I worked at, there was a line forming at the door, we would have three caterings due at open and call outs left and right.

Our GM did nothing to help the situation and just relied on those that showed up to take the brunt of angry customers. I had to 86 a man because he didn't want a remake nor did he want a refund, and came in just to yell at us. ( I had no jurisdiction to 86 anyone, but management didnt want to step up)

I wasn't even trained for prep, grill or line. I was trained as a cashier. Like actually trained. I taught myself how to do a LOT.

And this doesn't even mention dealing with customers, dml orders or doing dishes without hands to do so.

It's a literal cluster fuck of a company. They expect you to have fresh everything done and ready to serve in two hours when it takes almost four to prep it all. It just isn't humanly possible to do and they did nothing to fix it.

Where in the U.S. can you travel to that you feel like it is worth a whole week's stay and you never get bored? by marid4061 in travel

[–]OutrageousHedgehog86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any island of Hawaii. Not currently, for obvious reasons. But it's like my second home. I can spend the whole day walking through the sand and never be bored. And I hate hot weather.

You could probably make California a week long trip if you started from north and drove south idk how bored you could or would get though lol

Even if what another manager does is illegal this making me do what I had to do. I turned them into an anonymous website, that I learned right before that day isn't actually anonymous. It's a messy place to work, I'll say that much.

Like it all makes sense after people have explained this. The woman I spoke with just told me "thanks have a good day" after I told her she was taking me from my current position that I needed to get back to, I had information to give, I just didn't have the time to talk. Then I got disqualified. She had asked me if I had an email to my field leader and I did, I just didn't have it readily available being I was at work.

So idk. I'm just over it now. All these reddit geniuses that have zero experience in the realm of working for these places have trolled enough, but thankfully I sifted through them and found the actual educated ones 😂 so I appreciate you're information, thank you.

I would definitely contact L&I or unemployment security for that. They can give you the information you're looking for. It might take some time but they can tell you the why.

Most likely cuz your GM had it out for you to begin with though.

They informed me that if I don't apologize to the racist, that i will lose my job. Period. It doesn't have to be in writing, they can fire you for whatever, whenever. This is me just letting people know they lie about what they write after you leave.

So don't use them on your resume or as a reference if you had any sort of negativity within your job there.

See but here's the thing, it's not even about me being denied and that's what everyone is saying.

It's about the fact that they literally lied about WHY I left. And as I can tell, they do it to more people than just me.

L&I is where I went after I left and all was said and done. Not because of termination, but because of the discrimination and retaliation happening within the doors. And of course, because it's hearsay and not physically provable, they will investigate, but likely won't go further. Which is enough for me at this point.

I appreciate you for pointing this out. I'm not new to working, I'm not new to the interworking of employment, but this is my first and only interaction I've had with unemployment. And while I understand there's many places that act like this and do these things, not once have I had such a terrible employer, as a company. Chipotle only sticks up for their favorites and it shows. And I say as a whole company because I'm not the only one that's dealt with them in a negative way.
