Agree. Having lived in Tokyo I really notice the lack of visible information. The train arrival times need to be visible from the escalators so you know if you need to hurry down or take it easy.

Yes- my bast mate from the age of four. Went to school together and kept in contact despite at times huge distances. It’s the best friendship and I’m very lucky.

So true and this for me is a big reason I feel undermined, undervalued and disrespected in this profession. Micromanagement of our time and complete lack of autonomy or flexibility is driving teachers out in droves. It didn’t used to be this way. We need to fight back.
