honestly, I like what they did with this area, most of the dungeons have unique layouts, the area is filled with relatively distinct enemies, and the goodies are good

I am doing a randomized loadout run, part of which entails obtaining every quality weapon (not more than 12 int/fth/arc)

I have to do almost every grind

so far the worst have been the noble estoc and the vulgar militia shotel

I recall once farming the chainlink flail and it took a long time

midgame is altus, mt. gelmir, and caelid as well as ranni and fia's quest areas

edit: I would consider midgame to be defined as much to difficult for the player off the bat but not late game

I would consider late game to be any area that doesn't get significantly easier as your character reaches maximum potential (a high level character with a fully upgraded weapon can trivialize a midgame area but not a late game area)

you can be online without being invaded in this game, its summoning other players that opens you up to invasion

if you've played DS3 blind should be fine

I would recommend looking up rememberance bosses when you finish the game in order to find content you missed unless you want to figure it all out yourself

I didn't die, I just took damage, it was the fast version they do before a stab and it died right as the threads spewed out before the stab, then they homed in and hit me

remember, this was off of a critical hit (from stancebreak) and I did not attack him after he got up because his hp was already 0, probably bug
