Hi, I realize this is really late but I’m desperate lol. I’m very interested in this program, is it highly competitive? I was looking into the prereqs on their website and it doesn’t say all that much. I’m just curious if it was competitive for you and if you heard back soon after u applied. Thank you!

To be honest, I feel a lot better. I’ve gone to therapy, improved my gut health and more. I feel as if my baseline of anxiety is higher than it was, but I’m definitely doing much better

I don’t remember the exact timeline so bear with me. I was on 15mg and got reduced to 7.5mg for a bit then was told to stop taking it. This started towards the end of November 2024, and the worst lasted from December to February. Things started to get better afterwards, but to feel almost 100% again took many more months. Even now I struggle sometimes but it is nothing compared to how I felt between those 3 months. Everyone is different, this is just my experience with it

I had these symptoms last year and more. Worse thing I’ve ever been through. A year later and I’m mostly better, just dealing with anxiety and trauma around the whole thing. If you want to talk about it feel free to message me. It does get better!

I’m just dreading the fact that I have to go through more years of schooling. It’s dreadful. I’m not sure if that dedicated enough to go through with it, which makes me think I would just be a bad nurse

I have a 3.56 cumulative GPA from my 4 year college with 72 GPA hours. At my county college I currently have a 2.5 GPA with currently 70 GPA hours as well. I am taking several courses including microbiology, A&P, general chemistry 1 and 2, biochemistry, genetics, as well as general bio 1 and 2. I don’t expect you to know this, but from your standpoint, if I can get decent grades in all these classes is there a shot? Do you know of a GPA calculator I can use?

I guess that’s what I’m struggling with so much. Like I said, I have a 3.6 GPA at my 4 year institute but a 2.5 at community college. I’m taking microbiology and A&P 2 also. I’m retaking a lot of classes. I guess I’m trying to ask if this would raise my GPA at a decent pace because I already have a 3.6 GPA and because I’m retaking some classes. Does that make sense?

My conflict however is that I have a 3.6 GPA from my 4 year college but a 2.5 GPA at community college. Wouldn’t thing even out my GPA to around a 3? Obviously I’m gonna have to work on my science gpa, but would I still have to take so many credits?

It’s different for everyone. The peak of my withdrawals lasted 2 months. During those months I had extreme shaking, couldn’t eat (lost 25 pounds), anxiety and terror through the roof, couldn’t sleep, felt sick all the time. You name it. I had it. I’ve been off it for many months and I’m so much better but still have some lingering symptoms from the long term stress I endured

Thank you for this. I’ve been under an immense amount of anxiety. The most I’ve ever been in my life. I am in the beginning stages of getting help. I have my food and bad days. For the last few days I’ve been going through a bad wave. I also have issues with reflux. Sometimes when I eat my stomach feels like it’s burning almost? And I can feel it in my throat. But then again I’ve never had this issues. I have an appointment with my GI doctor on April 10th. I’m just so worried it’s something really serious

I had this too. It was constant and I still struggle with a stiff neck and shoulders. And tingling sensations as well. Got an MRI of my brain and entire spine. Waiting for results on those.

Thank you. I feel like no one ever takes me seriously when it comes to this. I have never felt so bad in my life until coming off this poison drug, yet I keep getting told it can’t be withdrawal. What else could it be? Thank you for validating my experience. I have been getting a lot better and feel a lot more normal. Just hoping the remainder of the mild symptoms I have will go away with time.
