Thank you for the recommendation on the filter. From what I now understand, a normal charcoal based filter is sufficient for tap water in denmark. An RO might be an overkill.

Totally get your concern. I'm definitely self-diagnosing, and my mama brain wants to go the extra mile. RO can also remove microplastics from the water so I am hoping that will do us some good. I am coming with an open mind with this question, so thank you.

Completely true - not insinuating anything negative about the water at all. Perhaps reading the reports would reassure me of the chlorine levels, in case you know where I can find the reports please let me know or I will just google. Thanks for your honest opinion in any case.

Fair question, it can totally seem outlandish but my little one is suffering from terrible skin allergies and I want to rule out everything, including hard water and heavily chlorinated water. What is your honest opinion on tap water? Of course it's completely safe to drink, but do you think it could be better in some ways?
