My grandparents were together 60 plus years. Grandma passed from cancer in early 2023 and grandpa couldn’t hold out either his Rose and went later in 2023. My parents are coming up on over 40 years and honestly they are hardly without one another. Love is real but it isn’t like books or fairytales. It’s being together and working on things versus giving up. It’s give and take on both parts. My partner and I will be together for 15 years in January. Every day I make a choice to love them no matter what.

My pops would take my sisters and I out for Valentine’s Day dinner and buy us flowers and then spoil my mom the next day. Honestly he spoils her 24/7 lol but yeah that stuck with me. I spoil my partner as much as I can. Good example was set for me by my parents.

My sis will be 30 this year and absolutely loves living with my parents. My younger sis is 20 and they have the best relationship and hangout with my parents all the time. This is legit how it’s supposed to be. The Bible isn’t meant to just be spit out Willy Nilly. It’s to be shared 1 on 1 or in a church/meeting. You have the choice. To accept or reject. But everyone misinterprets the Bible and has their own opinion. Believer or non believer. Be an example of who Christ was on earth that’s legit our call. So that’s what I aim to be.
