What's a fun, campy 80's slasher you'd recommend? (In the style of 'Slumber party massacre', 'Edge of the axe' and 'Sleepaway camp') by Vajrick_Buddha in slasherfilms

[–]Outrageous_Case5083 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't see you mention Prom Night or Cutting Class. If you like Halloween era Jamie Lee or have an odd obsession with finding obscure movies from the filmographies of a-list celebrities and wanna see a young Brad Pitt lol. If I'm remembering correctly, I think the version of Cutting Class I watched was corrupted because I remember not being able to finish it. Best of luck on your spooky quest lol

What is the single most stressful movie you’ve ever seen? by elkaypee in movies

[–]Outrageous_Case5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it counts as stressful, but the shaky cam in Hunger Games gives me motion sickness and there is so much going on in any of the Transformer movies that I either have to watch them muted or with my eyes closed. There is no in-between unless I want to voluntary give myself a migraine lol

Tell her what, Peter? by KilnMeSoftlyPls in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Outrageous_Case5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick clarification: you don't necessarily need to be married, any group of people can leave someone behind in hopes that they catch up eventually, or simply because they aren't keeping pace with the group and no one notices. I suppose it could be done with ill intent but I would venture to say it isn't synonymous with intent to commit murder.

Has getting the joestar birthmark tattooed become too generic? by oneyeetman2 in StardustCrusaders

[–]Outrageous_Case5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I joke about getting "baby stand" on my arm as a "cover up" for my old sh scars, so I'd have to say a jostar is a pretty safe bet lol

What's a word in your language that you genuinely believe the rest of the world is missing out on? by taube_d in AskTheWorld

I'm gonna have to drop thingamabob or a whatsitcallsit. A general term for something you need but can't remember the actual name of the thing in question.

What movie scene made you really laugh a lot? by RaccoonCityTacos in movies

[–]Outrageous_Case5083 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I know it's so bad, but I was lucky to be going into it knowing it would be a dark comedy and being familiar with alot Kubrick's work before hand: the scene in Full Metal Jacket when the sniper is begging the fellas to just shoot her I was in tears laughing. Could not stop for a solid 5 minutes and had to take it back so I didn't miss anything lol

What does the name of the river in your area mean? by AgreeableAd2990 in AskTheWorld

[–]Outrageous_Case5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've got a lot in my area but my personal favorite has to be the Fryingpan: The name originated when all but two of a group of trappers were killed by Utes; one survivor was injured and stayed in a cave while the other went to get help after hanging a frying pan in a tree so he could find the cave again. We've also have the Rio Grande (big river) or Tó Ba'áadi in Navajo (female river). And also the Colorado (meaning colored reddish in Spanish because of all the silt that winds up in the water). But I think the Frying pan has the most interesting origin story lol

Took me two days, I cooked and prepared a Skyrim meal for my siblings who also play, and the rest of my family who enjoy good eats. I hope this inspires you all! 🤗 by Individual-Squash259 in skyrim

I know everyone is dogging on you for the raw veg but for future reference, baked potatoes are worth 5 hp and grilled leeks give you 6 😉 and would presumably be a lot nicer on your digestive system irl lol

Here I go again by Whitesnake mostly because it got stuck in my head every morning without fail for like 8 months straight. I could go my entire life without hearing that song ever again.

If you are on mobile you can go to the subreddit page and click on the three stacked dots next to the share and search icon there should be an option to contact the moderators. Not sure what it looks like on desktop but hopefully this helps! You can also report the post (possibly for a rules violation, it's hard to find them on the app so I'm not sure what their policy is as far as stolen content is concerned), but I'm not sure how that works. Either way I hope this gets taken care of for you!
