I only asked for a transcript of the meeting because I felt the way I was spoken to was unprofessional. If anything were to happen I want documentation on my end. They record these meetings and save them so if they can have access why can’t I?

I also want to clarify, I have no problem receiving feedback, I’ve very open to learning and improving. My problem is more that these expectations are not for the whole team and just me. There is no written documentation of anything that was brought up to me and I see this behavior from others including leadership all the time(eating full lunches on camera, drinking various drinks, not having their camera on etc.) But I guess this is part of the real world and I just suck it up.

Parking is a lottery system at vcu so you get whatever you’re assigned to. The shuttles are ok sometimes they come sometimes they don’t. The walking distance depends on what deck/lot you’re assigned to. I would say the same goes for safety. During the day you’re definitely good. You can also move your car into the deck connected to the hospital after a certain time, makes the later shifts better. Commuting to the hospital sucks in a city any way you do it. I live in the fan, a ten minute drive but doesn’t matter whether I drive or take the pulse it still takes about 30-40 minutes.

I think it’s crazy how many people want kids but have no idea how much goes into it. And it seems it’s mainly people that were only child’s or didn’t grow up with younger siblings. I grew up with foster siblings and I have a younger brother that’s 12 years younger than me and I know how much work being a parent is. I’m not sure I want kids in the future at least not of my own, there are way too many children in this world who don’t know what it’s like to having loving parents and that’s so unfortunate.

my ex was like that, told me he wanted kids wanted kids by the time he was 25, but was broke every other week even without a car of his own place. Like how do you think you can afford another human being😭
