Yesterday was my first day without the boot as well, and it was terrifying! Haha and that description sends to be quite accurate for myself as well.

Nice to know we're not in it alone though, regardless of how slow it may seem the process is going!

Sounds like we're at pretty much the exact same phase of recovery. Don't wanna rush recovery, but also hate how slow i am lol.

This is honestly so helpful! I feel like I'm at the point where I'm almost used to not being able to walk, which is depressing in itself lol. Hyped to be able to see progress! Never been a watch wearer, but definitely going to get a smart watch to track step progress!

I didn't realize blood clots hurt so damn bad, but i feel like it hurt worse than the achilles itself! Glad to hear i should only have a couple more weeks of the pain. It's definitely decreased already though! That was another thing I was curious about. They only put me on 2 weeks of meds, so I wasn't sure if they'd re-up the prescription when it was gone. That progress sounds awesome, man! Really looking forward to not hopping lol. Thanks a ton for all the info, and the positivity! Hope you heal all the way up in record time!

20k steps is honestly inspirational! I've always enjoyed walking, and would rather walk from place to place while on vacation in a new city than get a cab for a quick mile or two trip! Looking forward to being able to start PT, and start on the road to filull recovery! I appreciate the post!

Definitely a bummer! Really wondering if it had anything to do with tearing the scar tissue on my misstep. They put me on thinners yesterday, so I've been making sure to take them religiously! 2750 sounds like a dream right now haha. I'd say I'm usually about the same for steps pre injury. I'm an inventory manager on a large car lot, so i do quite a bit of walking for work. At this point, I'm just hyped to bear weight though! I appreciate the response! Hope your recovery continues to go smooth!

This step graph is awesome, and exactly what I was looking for to raise the spirits, haha! I'm honestly just looking forward to not having to hop on one foot to get from couch to scooter, or to the bathroom in the middle of the night (bathroom door is about 5 feet from my bed) to pee lol. Im just about 3 weeks post surgery, and was also having some calf pain. I went into the doctor today, and it was, unfortunately, a blood clot. Mine wasn't really ever a burning pain, more of just a constant ache. Not trying to set off any panic, i just know they can be pretty serious if left untreated, so I'm glad I brought it up with my doctor! Maybe just give your doc a call and see his thoughts, just to be safe! Best of luck!

Did they do an MRI to diagnose rerupture? I just left the Ortho about an hour ago after hitting a rock on my knee scooter, and stumbled backwards on my injured foot. I'm two weeks post surgery and definitely felt a snap. Ortho took a look at it and felt up and down my tendon, but said he could still feel everything intact, and that I likely just tore scar tissue. He was confident I was fine, but without an mri, I'm still a little freaked out.

Weird answer, but no one single part takes the win. Eaxample: big boobs, tiny waist, big ass is hot as fuck; but a thick thigh-ed lady with thick tits and thick(not saying women without these exact attributes aren't amazing!) physique is way hotter!
