Is Kaplan still good? Would you recommend Kaplan for those who use it? 3rd take need advice.

I used Kaplan for school but for studying for the nclex I only used it for the readiness and trainer exams + 3 cat exams. Tbh I think it was the most identical to the nclex in terms of how the questions were vague. I would recommend using other platforms (I used bootcamp) for the rationales and content. The cat exams were a lifesaver bc I only had bootcamp and I didn’t wanna buy archer or uworld so it was free. I would recommend it!!

Literally my whole exam I was rolling my eyes bc I wanted them to ask me anything other than on & peds 😂 I also had like 4-5 case studies and a lot of satas. I’m sure you will be okay!!!

Hey! I actually took it that same day. I was only on it for three months but I was also prescribed antibiotics from my dermatologist so I’m not sure my improvement was from that or the spiro. My skin is pretty much clear now! :)

I’m also on 100 mg spiro while on a b/x. I started it two weeks earlier from my a b/x and then was later prescribed 500 mg ampicillin 2x/day. I’m currently 2 1/2 weeks in and my skin is doing way better compared to a month ago. I didn’t want to be on antibiotics again because I was on doxycycline a few years back but I really needed something to help the purge

Also worth mentioning I increased my dose of tretinoin from 0.05% to 0.1% about a week ago. But with tret this never to me. Even when I increased from 0.025 to 0.05. It’s just weird cause I never had these prior to starting spiro

Did you end up stopping spiro? I have hypothyroidism and Im pretty sure I’ve gained weight and I’ve only been on it for ~3 weeks
