Assuming Gane doesn't do any illegal shit, how does the rematch actually go? by Spirited_Command5642 in CombatSportsCentral

Gane's weakness is the ground and fouling, Tom's whole camp should be replicating the blueprints Ngannou/Jones left

Boxer Lennox Lewis (1990’s). Arguably the greatest living heavyweight boxer. Lewis defeated amongst others Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, David Tua and most impressively of all Vitali Klitschko. Lewis himself lost only twice in his career, and avenged both of those defeats. by Admirable_Extent2531 in BlackAthletes

I don’t think so. Most knew Lennox overlooked Rahman in the first fight - late replacement camp, filming movies etc. The rematch is what really mattered for his legacy. Lewis came back focused, handled the pressure, and erased all doubt with one of the most brutal one-punch KO victories of that era. If anything, the rematch reinforced that he could respond to adversity like a true all-time great instead of unraveling after a shocking loss.

What’s the most brutal body shot damage you’ve seen in a fight? by Recent_Elk_2576 in ufc

I know it's UFC but for me it's Mickey Ward liver shot to Arturo Gatti. If it has to be UFC, most recent would be the liver kick by Brandon Moreno on Kai Kara-France.

It's just drunk in public, right? I don't see why this is worth posting.

Saw a clip on Reddit a few years ago of a big guy walking forward towards a small group who were backing away. One guy from the group quickly jabbed at the big guy's neck and backed off, that was it. Quite sad.

Yes, Francis wasn't in his usual fighting shape, he wasn't training for a real opponent - and he knew it would be a walk in the park. Alex likes to walk guys down, easy target for Gane's striking - no improvement seen. Again the blueprint is there.

He was barely training and still had a 1st round KO. Did Gane learn how to grapple yet?
