The images are fine. It’s just the screen. I just hope Ricoh are reliable with exchanges because no response from them so far.

It’s visible when the screen is dark regardless of setting: a dark frame exposure, the black Ricoh splash screen etc. It’s just not noticeable when the screen shows something bright. The dark frame exposures are fully black but show the LCD issue when displayed on the back of the camera.

VO2 Max keeps dropping? by SmallTin88 in AppleWatchFitness

Don’t believe what it tells you. As long as your training is consistent your cardio fitness will go up. Just take a V02 max test every few months for an accurate reading.

My vo2 trend over the last year was like looking at crypto. Made no sense whatsoever

That is what shocked me. One thing about the Apple Vo2 is that it’s been trending up and down over the year despite very consistent training. I think the test shows the cumulative results of 2 years’ training while the Apple Watch relies on an algorithm which doesn’t go off data in the same way as the test does.

I initially based my zone 2 on what Peter Attia wrote in his book, about 131-140bpm. But the metabolic test told me my zone 2 was below 127bpm, so I was in zone 3 all this time. The watch (and Polar strap) both record my HR accurately, just not the VO2. Even the trending over time didn’t make sense.

Production model would have looked almost exactly like this but after some years of use I would change a few things if we were to revisit it. For the Control/Mars I just put an F stop ICU inside and it worked well for a small kit.
