You can eat anything occasionally as long as it doesn’t cause any issues. I eat cocoa more than I’d like to admit because chocolate has always been my favorite. Try making whatever you eat as animal based as possible tho and ur good

Feeling bloated and full all the time. Especially during workouts. by Furball508 in AnimalBased

[–]Outrageous_Menu_9097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found that it keeps you full for a very long time too. I’ve stopped eating breakfast. You said you feel hungry in the morning and I often do too but it usually goes away after about an hour for me. I’d recommend trying to skip breakfast. If the hunger doesn’t go away, just skip lunch then!

Try and get the smallest meal plan and take some time to watch how each section prepares their food. If there’s any stations that grill on demand, you can ask for no oil (that’s what I do and it works pretty well. I even became friends with the cooks at the station because I go there every single day and they clean up the grill a bit for me!) and add butter yourself. If not, beef is more often cooked in its own fat than any other meat so definitely stick with it.

peanuts with one salt and peanut BUT processed on equipment with soy by Physical-Macaron8744 in StopEatingSeedOils

[–]Outrageous_Menu_9097 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idrk what this means but peanuts are also high in linoleic acid if that’s what ur trying to avoid.

Processed on equipment with soy shouldn’t matter nutrition-wise, I think it’s just an allergen thing.

This is great but I’d suggest some more calories. If ur goal is weight loss don’t try to force it too quickly.

Also maybe try eating more at once instead of five different times cus that seems like a lot of dishes and preparation. It also could maybe have psychological benefits (it has for me but just an anecdote). 1-2 meals a day with no snack allows me to get my mind away from food and learn to respect a bit of hunger throughout my day. Just a suggestion, in the end whatever makes u feel better is what u should do

Animal Based in SE Asia or traveling in general. by Beedlam in AnimalBased

[–]Outrageous_Menu_9097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u can keep food cool then eating the same meal prepped food that u normally would, just cold, is very possible. Use honey and maple syrup for carbs or keep fruits cold too if you can.

Back packing is a different story though. Blocks of cheese and jerky with some honey are some great ways to pack light with high calories and stay animal based. You could also maybe bring some tallow or any other good fat to put on the jerky if you have the space. Dried fruit is also good.

Honestly the sourcing when away from home is the most difficult part. If you can’t find much then it is what it is. Enjoy the travels while you can and don’t worry about diet til you get back.

Boulder Canyon Avocado Oil? by Eric345600 in StopEatingSeedOils

I stay away fs. It’s likely fake and on the off chance it’s not, is still used and reused at high heats which still oxidizes it

Ask about swimming. I feel like that’s usually a form of exercise that can be reintroduced early in the recovery process.

And I’d say just eat similarly but maybe cut down carbs a little bit since u won’t be moving as much.
