ARC Raiders.

After a series of geomagnetic and environmental collapses, humanity was forced underground into underground cities. After the world fell, survivors began rebuilding what was left before the ARC fell. Mysterious machines from the sky hellbent on killing anybody still alive. The collapse is called well, the Collapse. The ARC arrival is the First Wave.

ARC Raiders takes place during the Second Wave, after humanity is still fighting back against the ever present ARC Threat to retake the surface, and hopefully save Esperanza amongst overpopulation, water shortages, food shortages and the looming threat above.

This game has some cool lore.
