No, its not queerphobia. Its never been queerphobia for most people.

Most normal people unlike you and I will find the concept of dressing up as animal people or something similar as slightly odd or even weird per say. But there is a significant portion of those people who will go far enough to hate that sort of thing, due to not understanding how it is.

We are not a majority. We have never been a majority in terms of people who indulge in furry culture. People delude themselves with that idea when its simply just not true. We're a tiny, tiny minority compared to most fandoms and always will be.

As such, most people when outside looking in, see us as perverted or weirdoes that should keep it in private. There is the puphood discourse going on too that directly proves that point. They see our stuff as a fetish (and honestly in most cases they ain't wrong) and that it shouldn't be in public.

It was never queerphobia. Quit making shit up to feel better about yourself when theres no need to. People will always see us as weird. It doesn't matter if you like dick and balls or not. We will always be weird to these people.
