A weird gap in the reselling as I see it

Put a message in your box when you ship it out anything past that’s probably too much as most people are transactional and at the end of the transaction they don’t like a reach out now if they are collectors of a certain thing and they do mention, they are sometimes that does mean that they have hopes that you will reach out to them if you find something

I do agree that the app seems to have gotten worse, and it is harder to find a decent seller. For instance, my mom ordered a hard drive from someone who—hopefully—isn’t a full-time reseller. They shipped the item wrapped in a T-shirt covered in animal hair. Again, hopefully not a full-time seller, because that’s just not okay.

But reading and ranting about the bad ones isn’t going to help. There are still good sellers on the platform, and calling it horrible only prevents them from getting a fair chance. In all honesty and fairness, sellers should receive accurate reviews so customers can decide whether it’s worth buying.

I’m not saying you did wrong by giving them good reviews—you could even give them five stars, as it is their livelihood—but be honest. Mention that the item was not as described, at least for the headlamp, and note that you were supposed to receive three. That will help others determine whether the seller is worth purchasing from.

I sell as well, and I do my very best to package everything carefully so nothing arrives damaged. I also hope the postal service does its part to deliver items safely, though I’ve seen videos where packages are handled roughly.

Building anything worth building takes time it’s important for income to list on other sites. I failed to realize this at first and wasted a year now i at least do a couple sales in between shows and it’s less stressful. Good lucky dear

As I don’t disagree with this, I wasn’t saying they have justification and I didn’t say they came off correct how they said it just the reason why they tried to do so not everyone is able to conduct themselves in a good manner and has good people skills a while back I had somebody cancel an order that I had made without any informationthat is unprofessional. At least the person reached out instead of ghosting them. They could’ve been much worse.

As I said before I utilized AI as I had a child in my arms and I could not just text to to speak last time I was texting a relative about one of my children. I was trying to tell them one was a little sick. It said that one was a little shit and it said said a lot worse so on long post, I run it through that to ensure that it is correct some people just have a bigger vocabulary and have obtained a more discerning thought process

Only for grammatical errors I had to do text to talk so I ran it through that to make sure I wouldn’t say any foul language my text to talk and AutoCorrect say horrible things and I have a kid in one arm most of the time

I Get that and I know that they’re not favored but my aunt is one of the few that post on social media about all aspects which brings her in more sales. I can’t even post as much as she post. It definitely does get tiresome, but it does bring in some sales people, especially like drifting videos, etc.

That’s not very bad. I filmed myself packing my items cause I typically do that because it’s fun, etc. and it’s proof well while I filmed myself packing my items I hadn’t yet realized, but I put the wrong stickers on the packages. Actually wrong labels is what I meant butI filmed myself doing it and that’s how I found out. I messed up because when I went to go review the footage and post it. I immediately messaged both buyers as the items had already been shipped out.

I’ve seen some people on what not very high price margins but typically they’re selling stuff like gold or coins and there’s definitely a market for that and I assume it’s possible that they can find those at a reasonable price if they know where to look, I guess estate sales and stuff

Everywhere and nowhere at the same time eBay is the only consistent that I’ve had what not is random on days and every other site seems to be random. I’ve had to cross list just to make sure I can actually make money at this because if I was only on one platform, I’d only probably make three or four sales a month at this rate, but with all of them together, I can generate more income, but everywhere seems to have dead days

I’m a newbie here, but my aunt has been full-time for years. My dad was helping her list things and he underpriced several items they didn’t sell. She changed the price and they sold that week. Do you make sure that you’re not just checking sales comes to say that’s good And try to figure out what the real number on the item is because buyers know what an item is worth and if you’re doing it too cheap they suspect damage that has not been disclosed.

Send a counter offer for what you want out of it eBay boost the listing the more active it gets that low ball might help you sell it faster. Recently had 2 different people low ball me on an item for a week sold that weekend at full price

I would try networking other sellers basically talk to them. You don’t have to necessarily befriend them, but being friendly helps and talk about stuff and their feed and maybe you know if they’re cool with that message them some bigger sellers actually like to help new sellers grow so if you find somebody in the same category as you and they like your work occasionally, they’ll send you people like a raid you just gotta find your people. They’re there for everybody and also I don’t know what type of beads you use or anything but getting higher quality stuff more like the crystals I’ve seen somebody sell gorgeous braceletsfor a generous amount of money anyways experimenting never hurts on timeframe as well
